My brother and his wife were getting ready to separate and saw the movie, and then bought the book and went through the "love dare" plan and it changed their life. They had been together about 10 years and just thought they had grown apart. That was a few years ago and they still act like newly weds.

I have the book.

I tried to get my BIL to try it to save his 35 yr. marriage. Nope. I think he was focusing his attention on someone besides my sister...it won't work in that case. *rolls eyes*

Looks like good sound advice. Definitely do it if you feel you and your DH are drifting.

I saw the movie and then got the book out of curiosity. My husband and I had a strong relationship at the time but I still gave many of the days a try. It made our relationship even better.

Another book that has really strengthen not only our marriage but my relationship with my children and other family is the Five Languages of Love. Often if DH and I start to have a few days where we are feeling disconnected we just come back to what each other's love languages are and focus on those. Every time it helps and we realize we just weren't showing the other enough love in their way.
