Love Bugs!

Just wanted to remind anyone traveling by car into Florida in the near future --

IT'S LOVE BUG SEASON!

Every May and September, we get them and they are awful for your car! Bring plenty of windshield washer fluid and get some bug remover from maybe Home Depot, or an auto place, cause you will think it was one of the plagues when they hit your car on a road trip. Sometimes you can't even see out of the windshield and they're a "bugger" to get off!!!

We're headed to Port Canaveral the last week in May, and you can be sure we'll be prepared!

You are sooo right! We went to WDW at the end of Sept. in 1987 and we had to stop and wash the car 2 times just so we could see. I'll never make that mistake again.

They started early this year too...Some windshield are worse than others...always have to clean the car too or they destroy the paint

We dealt with them crazy things at Panama City a few years ago...

Ugh, I have been having nightmares about these things, since I'm headed down to Florida next week. I do so hate all types of bugs, I just hope none of them land on ME!

Yuck! We usually go to WDW in September and the lovebugs are pretty bad. We are leaving tomorrow for Disney and I thought we'd miss the bugs this time. Oh well .

I used to deal with them living in South Alabama. Now that I am in the Central part of the state, I never see them anymore.

Not that I miss them....

Heck, it's hard to miss them if you're driving!

I've been seeing a few of them around my back yard recently. It's kind of amazing that they can still fly around while...being loving.
