Love Bugs?

I'll have a lavendar Disney purse with Minnie Mouse and will be with 2 girl friends. I'm hoping for light on the love bugs, no rain, a cool front, and light crowds. I know, I know, but I can dream can't I.

I'll have a pinkish overland bag with a Bawb memorial key chain I might even have my dis unplugged T on that day! depending on the love bug situation

Do the love bugs really get that bad? The past 3 years I've gone to WDW usually like May 4th-10th and we saw them, but they weren't a big deal, we brushed them off our clothes a few times, but they don't bite or anything so they didn't bother us....do they get alot worse? For all the posts I see about them you'd think they were locust.

Funny though, I read the article that a PP linked and the 2nd story after the love bugs read...

Midges Flying
Love bugs aren't the only annoying things flying around Central Florida. Seminole County is also seeing an invasion of midges.

Until recently, the bugs have been kept in check with chemical spraying and giant lights that float on barges and draw the bugs out onto Lake Monroe.

However, winds not only pushed more of the midges onshore, they also ran one barge aground and damaged another.


I first read that entire piece reading "midgets" not MidgeS ... and I about spat my iced tea on my monitor I can just picture a group of Midgets running a barge aground.

this is from last May... I didnt know what they were and took a picture to ask someone LOL We were like, what is that 2 headed bug???? We saw them around, but nothing to be bothered by... this was May 9th-16th
