Love Bug Updates?

Leaving in 4 days so Id love a Love Bug Update???

I was there last week and saw very very few love bugs.

We arrived on Sunday. We've not seen any, nor did our car windshield get covered with them on the drive down. I believe you are safe.

Honestly, is this really that big of a deal to have to ask about it, they don't bother anyone that I can remember

we were there sept 27-oct 5 and the only place we really noticed them was at ak while riding tricer spin. there were swarms and swarms of them all over the ride--don't know why!!

Love bugs do not bite but they sure can make one big mess on cars and clothes if you happen to visit WDW while they are out in flight. You might say "so what" but how about the time the Alamo rental car company tried to charge me for damages because the love bugs were so encrusted on the front bumper and wouldn't remove. I fought them on this and won thank gosh.

Since then, I never take Love Bugs lightly.

A few weeks ago, I would not have understood your question...I would have thought it was related to Herbie.
We were in at the World, Sept. 20-28, towards the end of the week they were everywhere. Especially in my cleavage. Constantly.
They seemed to favor Coke, as they always were trying to crawl in my cup.
One of my favorite quotes from my eight-year-old was, "Mommy, why are those bugs on top of each other? No, I think they are kissing their butts."
Stay away from my cleavage, Coke and the bugs' butts and hopefully you will be OK.

I dont think you have been around long enough because people actually plan their trips around these guys...People have phobia's, Im not one of them...I simply wanted an update cause I dont want one flying into my Beer! jk
