So. My ten year old laptop, which has been singing along, finally showed it's age - a button on the keyboard popped out. I took it to the Apple Store, went to the Genus Bar and left 5 minutes later with a a new key - and 5 more, all fitted, because they were "slightly scuffed". Free. Charming customer representative too. Can't fault them.

I am still using a 2009 MacBook Pro that was a family hand me down. It still works great, but it’s too old to interact with my other Apple devices. So that means I can’t backup my iPhone and iPad to it anymore, and it’s a pain to do nothing more than back up the photos from those devices. I prefer local backup to the Cloud, especially in light of what has been going on recently regarding encryption and government access. Debating getting a new MacBook Air when they come out later this year. I do like Apple products and their support.

"Free" support is really just part of the higher price you pay for Apply products when you first purchase them.

I remember waaaaaaaaay back in the day I had one of those white MacBooks. It was cracking and I was pretty bummed out about that. I found out there was some kind of a recall on that, and they replaced that part for free. I was impressed.

I have been a Mac user for about 20 years, I am a big fan of their products. Yea they can be a bit pricey, to me it is worth it.

We had a weird issue that started when our kids were younger and we shared an account, at one point last year H and I were receiving each other’s texts. Called apple, couldn’t have been more helpful to is non tech people. Got on our screens and talked us through it. And no accent, which was great for me, H doesn’t have as much difficulty as I do with non English accents. However I have better hearing.

in 2014, my computer crashed, and my ds had to rebuild some of it. When it was working again, my iTunes library would not function. I can't remember exactly what it was doing, but it was not good. I called Apple, and the man who helped me finally fixed. It took days, he would call me and email me, and he finally got it working again. He worked so hard, for so long, he was awesome.

I also had iPhone issue a few years ago -. I kind of acted like a Karen about an appointment that was messed up... They ended up sending me a different phone when it was probably my fault in retrospect) Was something about the batteries on the 6. I am a dedicated apple customer. I love them.
