The last payment of our trip was due today so when I called to make I asked our AAA agent about the 4/3 offer. She said she would check on it. We GOT it!:dance3: We saved some $$$$ but also got the two hundred gift card.  I am so excited! I love that travel agent!:lovestruc I am already thinking what I could spend that gift card on.
Anyway if any of you already had a trip planned it might be worth your time to check on it also. Good luck!

What if you never asked about it?? Wouldn't a really great agent have noticed the deal and then told you about it? I'm not trying to be mean, but you should give credit where credit is due, and that credit goes to yourself!!!!! Glad it all worked out for you though, and have a good trip!

I am so glad to hear someone loves their AAA agent! I work for AAA, and we usually get ripped on here! :rotfl: But there are some agents here that I totally understand hahaha. Enjoy your savings, and your gift card. We just got back Saturday, and I saw so much I would have spent the gift card on!!

Question. . .
Did you get just the 4/3 deal, or did you get that plus the AAA discount? I'm wanting to book a trip and was going to just book through the Disney website, but if I could get a little more knocked off I'd use AAA.

Hi Dizneemommmy! You know I am not sure. It probably was only the 4/3 deal. However I still saved more money and get the $200 gift card so I figure I got a better deal. I would check with AAA and make sure if I were you. Even though we always book through AAA every year I still call around to make sure it is the best deal.

I agree that it would be nice if travel agents would notice a special to save you money. However if I put myself in their shoes and had numerous clients I don't think I could find a way to save them money. My AAA agent has so many clients that once we are booked all she needs us to do is get it paid for. Her job is to find me the cheapest deal and then book. If you called WDW they wouldn't tell you about a code to save you money if you already booked. If you want to save money I think you need to do the work yourself and find the codes. I love my AAA agent but wouldn't expect her to know everything and all the codes. It sure would be nice in a perfect world but I'm sure if she knew she wouldn't withhold the info to make you lose money. Just a thought

I disagree.

My agent (from Dreams Unlimited) looks for codes. That includes specific PIN codes.

I would hope that my AAA agent would keep track of all her Disney people and when offers come up she could check out her people and then contact them to let them know of a special deal..who's to say, you may have to stay an extra day and save way more money..

:headache: This is why I won't be using AAA again. I did not have a knowledgable agent and it was I who asked her to follow up on a Disney promotion, even though when I first booked I repeatedly asked her to keep an ear out for codes.
