Lounges or Restaurants with intimate seating for two?

Hello! I am looking for some interesting dining options or bars / lounge options that have more intimate seating for two.
I've seen many restaurants that appear to be a better quality that I'd like to try, but their two top tables are tiny, and often look like they are just adding in a high traffic walkway! I'm looking for something where two people can sit closer, or have a little quieter space. For example, when I was last at Enchanted Rose they had some chair and lounge seating that looks more cozy. Then, when I look at online pictures of Toledo (which I'd love to try), I see the two tops sitting pretty much in a hallway.
Thanks for any ideas!

We've really enjoyed dining outside on the upstairs deck at Wine Bar George. If you can get a table away from the door, it can be pretty quiet. You'll sit at a regular table, not high-top. We also enjoy their menu, but you'd have to check that out for yourself!

Part of the problem is finding a way to actually GET the intimate table. Plenty of restaurants have nice two-tops in quiet areas, but they also have a ton of them out in the open - when making reservations, you can try to ask, but you'll likely not get a guarantee of scoring one of the 'nice' tables. With self-seating bars/lounges, you can try to score those spots - but it's a matter of timing, luck, and patience to get one.

Hitting one of the quieter restaurants in general would be one way to get a more intimate experience - if the whole place isn't as noisy and active, you can enjoy your meal even if the table is out among the main seating areas - a place like Jiko tends to be good for that.

I like Enzo's Hideaway as a slightly more intimate, romantic type spot just for its small size and dark environment - every time I've gone there as a twosome, we've gotten a booth along the back wall.

Tiffins is also generally a quieter, nicer restaurant, so you're usually able to hold a nice conversation with your partner without shouting or trying to be heard above music or din of noises...it's a medium sized restaurant but divided up into smaller rooms, which keeps each space more intimate and quiet.

Cake Bake Shop also tends to be quieter, and many of the two-tops are in the side rooms, like the glassed in 'patio' seating.

One kind of neat environment that can be romantic when the weather is nicer is to dine on the docks at Boathouse. The outdoor tables spread out past the dock bar and you can get full menu there - no reservations, so they're first-come-first-serve.
