Lounge chairs removed from Typhoon?

I just read a very recent trip report saying the loungers have been removed from TL and possibly BB. The reason is to make room for more of the smaller chairs during busy times. I hope its not true. I cant imagine not being able to lay out or take a snooze in comfort.

Can anyone confirm this?

We were there last week. There wasn't a lounger to be found at Typhoon Lagoon. My DD20 was very disappointed. She was just laying out while the rest of us enjoyed the attractions. Blizzard Beach did still have lounge chairs (much to her enthusiasm) but it seemed like they had less than last year.

Crazy! Doesn't matter to us though, we never got one anyway

yes, we went on the 26th feb when it first re opened. no loungers. people were putting two chairs together to fashion a sort of lounger or lying on a towel on the sand, so the space taken up was the same. it was very qiuet the first three days so wether they will allow this when it gets busy i don't know. shame as typhoon lagoon has always been my favourite water park

That is so disapointing to me !!! I guess I will just have to use the ones at the resort.
