Lounge at BLT

Just returned yesterday from a 3-night stay, it was my first time but didn't have a chance to check out the lounge Do you have to stay there to be able to go up or if I stay somewhere else next time can I still access?

I believe that normally you can not go to the top of the world. Disney, right now, is allowing DVC members to go up until the end of the year. I plan on checking it out in a few weeks. We stay at VWL so it's just a boat ride away.

That's correct, as of now, it's just a temporary thing. Normally you cannot go up unless you are staying there using your membership.
