haha cool! :woohoo: Carla and I have met already. :goodvibes We email each other every day. We planned a meet last year when our vacations overlapped, then both booked the bounce-back for the same exact days at the same resort! Actually we ended up meeting earlier than planned because I spotted them at MGM...then we all stayed for the EMH's and it was awesome!

Where are y'all planning on meeting? I am SO hoping for an early flight on the 13th, but so far Delta is the only one with a direct flight listed and it's at 5:30 pm. :headache: I am sure that could change...I am hoping to get the same flight we got last year since we flew out on a Saturday as well. We took off just before 10 our time for an hour and 1/2 flight and were checked into our hotel by 2:00!

We were talking about meeting at MK or Epcot on the 13th, but DF and I arent leaving till probably lunch time on the 14th, just incase your flights are crazy aagin. I'm gunna reasd your TR tonight. Guess we need to carry this over to our TR's before we get fussed at, but yeah DF is going to try to collect more pins than Carla and Chris. (Its his first trip!)

:) Hi everyone!!! I'm from Gonzales (that's outside of Baton Rouge). I am planning our vacation (self and DH) right now for the end of May. I can't wait. The Disney fever has already set in... :lmao:

Hey! My sister lives in Prairieville. She's a Disney nut too. I live in Monroe. My gang is taking our next trip in June. This will be our first trip with our older sons, daughter-in-law and the grandkids. I can hardly wait to watch the little ones enjoying the parks.

What a small world! My DH is originally from Monroe. I hope your son enjoys his first trip.

I live in Slidell. My daughter and I enjoyed this year's trip during the Mardi Gras break and will definitely be going back Mardi Gras 2009! It was a great time to go.

I had heard it was really busy at Mardi Gras. Then again, this year Mardi Gras came so EARLY, and I had heard that much of the reason for the crowds during the usual Mardi Gras week is that some states have their spring break at that time.

I thought that Mardi Gras was a great time to go. The weather was great and crowds were not so bad. With fastpass we rarely had over a 15 minute wait for anything. In 2009 Mardi Gras week is the week after Presidents' Day week, so I'm hoping that all of the big crowds will be gone by then. I just love seeing all of the LSU and Saints shirts that everyone wears during Mardi Gras week.

Cut Off Louisiana, Lafourche parish.....We are going Nov 21st thru Nov 29th..Thanksgiving holidays!!! Can;t wait!!!:yay:

I have a friend who just tried to book DVC for Mardi Gras and couldn't get a room, I think it's going to pretty crowded this year.

I'm not surprised your friend couldn't get a room. We Louisianians take over Orlando during Mardi Gras!

We are going in May of this year, but we went last year Aug 30 through Sept 6 and it was great. Just be on the lookout for hurricanes. We were at Disney when Gustav hit us. Came back to In-laws house flooded and they had to live with us for 3.5 months. We survived. My hubby is a State Trooper and we almost did not get to go on that trip due to the storms. Oh well I think you will enjoy Sept and probably get free dining like we did. That was great.
