I know Disney isn't exactly a calm and soothing place, but I get so burned by too much noise and would love to make ADRs at places that are less noisey. I guess I'm not really a hoop dee doo person (or whatever that dinner show is:))

So what are you votes for the loudest and the quietest TS restaurants in WDW. Or CS I guess if one is a real stand-out.

Rainforest Cafe and the Poly Luau (sp?) for noisy.

Jiko at AKL for a quiet dinner.

I've never eaten there, but it always seems very quiet at the Mexican restaurant when I'm floating by on the boat ride :)

We eat at Tusker House in AK and eat outside along the creek. Can be quiet if the dancers/music isn't going.

We also always eat a dinner at Le Cellier, and I don't recall it being noisy in there. We could be just lucky, tho, with who we're sitting next to.

For noisy I would say Chef Mickey and Whispering Canyon Cafe.

For quietest I would have V&A top the list, but also Bistro de Paris

On a recent trip, quiet places were:

Big River Brewery at the Boardwalk for lunch.

Yachtsman Steakhouse, Palio, Jiko, Citricos, Artist Point for dinner.

For loudest, Whispering Canyon, Chef Mickey, Rainforest Cafe -- definitely. Also, Biergarten, and remarkably, Flying Fish and California Grill, at times. To some extent, also Spoodles, Marrakesh, Rose and Crown (inside).

I was going to also put Le Cellier on my loudest list, but it isn't very loud -- it just seems that way because it is so cramped and crowded.

For quietest, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Citricos.

Quiet: V&A's. Also Bistro de Paris and Artist Point.

Noisy: Besides the ones that have already been mentioned, Narcoossee's (probably because of the wood floor and ceiling).

Whispering Canyon Cafe is the loudest.

Quiet~ the Plaza, in MK. Not fancy food... Just quiet, cool relaxing. Perfect for a quiet meal of sandwiches/ salads :lovestruc

We always eat at the Plaza in the MK for lunch. It is a great way to unwind and regroup. The food is nothing fancy but it is quite good.

(Keep in mind that I am not usually there during peak seasons.)

Noisy-any/all food courts,

Quiet-Fountainview Cafe at Epcot, Artists Point (tho one time we had a table of soused adults next to us screaming at each other), Tusker house (outside)

Jenny

Noisy - Coral Reef. All that glass makes the sounds rebound all over the place.

Quiet - Artists Point at WL or Olivia's at OKW.

Of the signatures, I'd say California Grill and Narcoossees are the loudest--with Citrico and Palio being the more quiet. Bistro is pretty quiet also, and of course, V&A.

The Crystal Palace was very loud...not unexpectedly so. It's still a fun place to eat. I thought the Sci Fi Drive-In was fairly quiet (albeit, the old movies were playing in the background). The night sky scenes were very relaxing.

We found the tile floors made the Boma very noisy!
