Hi - I'm was planning a trip for 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids) in Dec. w/ 2 rooms at ASM. Now I'm intrigued w/ the free dining plan for the fall and I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to do this for at least 4 of us.

First of all when you book 2 rooms, do you need to put 1 adult in each room for the reservation? If this is the case, I guess I can't get the free dining pckg since you need double adult occupancy. Right?

Is there a way to book 2 rooms; 1 w/ the room rate only for the 2 teens, and the other w/ the free dining & tix pckg for the 2 adults and 2 kids?

Thanks alot and sorry about the confusion. :earsboy:

First the free dining ends 10/4/05 so unless you change your dates or keep hoping (like I am) it is not available.
I have two rooms at ASMo and just asked for 2 rooms when I booked, there are 4 of us 2 adults 2 kids 15 & 5, it is all on one reservation # and we all have the dining plan (for $115 per night).

Actually I was considering switching from our orig. plans in Dec. to the free dining plan in the fall if it was possible.

TeresaMC- If you don't mind me asking what does your package include? Is that $115 a night pp?

Thanks :)

What you need to do is get two reservations. One with 1 adult and one teen, just for the room. One for one adult, one teen and 2 Children with the free Dinning. (the meals are all together in pool so it realy doesnt matter who orders the meal they will all be deducted from the total) The double occupancy means that if you have two adults in your party, the rate quoted for each adult is only applicable if you both stay in the same room, it does not mean you have to get two adults in each room. I would go to disney.go.com and play around with the res. system it will give you an exact quote of whatever you are looking for.

The $115 per night is the cost for us of the dining plan. Our whole package is around $3700 which includes 6 nights(2 rooms) ,7 day MYW premium tickets, dining plan plus airfare.

Pretty resonably priced vacation if you ask me, we won't have to spend much at all once we get there.

ETA- One other thing I did buy as MVMCP tickets for $160 extra.

We requested connecting rooms at Pop. We have 2 adults, 6 children. This was done under one reservation (and only one reservation #) AND we got free dining for our whole party (except for the 2 children under 3 years old.)
They TELL me on my confirmation letter that the connecting rooms are guarenteed because I have minor children. I hope so!
But anyway, that's how my reservation worked.

Made reservations at POFQ for next August for 2 adults and 4 teens. Got two rooms and just one reservation #. They just asked who would be in each room...when we get there we can shift if we want. All have the dining add-on. Also asked for CONNECTING rooms and it showed up on the resevation that we got...Hope this helps
