Do any of you use it on your trip?
How much does it cost?
Do you get to keep him or is he just available to be rented?
Would it be worth it for us - 2 week stay, with DD1, DN2 and DD5!
And what *exactly* does he do?

We thought he sounded fun last time we went but never got one. This time we're considering it but not sure if it's worth it

1. Yes, for the last 6 or 8 trips since we've owned him.
2. A new PM is about $70.
3. No rentals are offered anymore.

Is one "enough" for 3 children, if one of the adults holds it, or lets the children take turns. Our DGC are 1 1/2, 2 1/2 and 3 1/2, and I was thinking I would buy one, but don't want to cause a civil war.

We bought two for our boys (5 & 2) and they weren't impressed. Luckily we got ours at a deep discount when one of the Disney outlets was selling their last years models for about $15!! Thanks to the Budget board for that scoop!! NO WAY would I have paid $70 for one, much less $140 for two. Maybe it was because we got last years model, but we could hardly hear him in the parks, and he kept falling off our belt loops. I believe this years has a strap that makes him easier to hold on to........actually, ours are on Ebay right now!
Maybe the 50th anniversary models are better........

Last year we took dd(4) neice(7) and between the two of them and dh they had to share. They did pretty darn good, and they all loved to carry him, I on the other hand enjoy having one less thing to lug around. One is doable, just promotes sharing and getting along.
