Lots of new rD merchandise online, but...

...why is it all so ugly? I honestly would never wear anything except maybe the new plain grey shirt with the blue logo. And MAYBE one of the headbands.

$70 for pants you can't run in? A polo shirt?

The issue I have is that most has 'In Training' on it. Though, I do see a couple items without that.

There are more items in the parks and at ESPN that are not listed on the website.

Yeah... not a fan. I can't wait for official merch at the various races though. (Although I could forgo the hours long waits!) Hope its much better. Not sure why Disney doesn't just partner with a company and put out some fun, disney running clothes with fun sayings that aren't all "in training" - something funnier like what you end up seeing on the make-your-own shirt websites. I would definitely buy a tank to train in that says something about running for wine or the "this princess wears running shoes" type of thing that you see on pinterest.

I have an expo coming up this weekend for a local race and I'm psyched to check out the tech shirts for that and it's not even a Disney race!

The DD half marathon sweatshirt from the year 12 was awesome. Bright colors....very loud that ppl from further away can see it. I have had more people come up to me and talk to me about the Disney races wearing that sweatshirt...than any other combined.

This year the sweats were ugly. Boring colors and designs that did not stand out at all. They were hohum at best. I was surprised because I thought being the 20th anniversary they would have gone all out with colors and so on...but no.

If they are as bland as they were this year (I am talking only about the sweatshirts) then I will not purchase any.
