Well, for all of you who love to look at pictures, this is the place for you! Since this trip didn't turn out the way it was planned, I spent most of my time taking lots & lots of pictures! For some background, since my brother & his family live out of state, we try to meet at WDW a few times a year. What better place for a family to get together??? The "we" is usually my mom & myself. Sometimes accompanied by one of my sons. My husband doesn't "appreciate" Disney. :confused3 So, 2 days before our trip, my brother herniated a disc & ended in the hospital instead of the BWV. The vacation ended up as a mother-daughter experience of emotions -- missing brother & his family, yet loving the Christmas atmosphere of Disney. Here are my pics! Hope you enjoy them.

We stayed at BWV. Here's the lobby decorations.

Wow, the Beach Club tree is beautiful! My family just got back from WDW and we didn't really get a chance this time to visit the other resorts to see the decorations. Thanks for sharing your pictures!

Oooh yay! I love looking at other people's pictures, especially of Disney World! We stayed at Saratoga Springs. :)

We stayed there once shortly after it opened. Construction was still going on. The layout was so massive that it took forever to get to the main building! Bus transportation wasn't very good. Has that improved? The units were very nice though.

Next stop on the trip was the Yacht Club. Beautiful!

SSR is HUGE! We didn't really have too many problems with the transportation(maybe we waited 20 minutes at most for buses) but one morning when we were off to Epcot there was a whole bunch of people who said they were waiting an HOUR for a bus to the Magic Kingdom...and it was the morning when MK had early opening!

Wonderful, wonderful pictures! We did manage to see the Yacht Club decorations!

I just love looking at pictures.

I absolutely agree!!! You tell people who have never been there about the decorations & they just look at you like you're crazy! Well, we ARE a little Disney crazy around here, aren't we??? I'll try to get a few more pics up today.

Subscribing. I love Disney at the holidays.

Well, now for Epcot. I had previously seen some of the Storytellers on other trips, so I wanted to get to some that I didn't see.
Canada -- This Santa was very good.

France -- also very good.

Italy -- Ok, must admit. Being Italian, we love to stop & listen all the time. However, this one wasn't as good as the lady who performed other years. Don't get me wrong, she was still entertaining. Just liked the other one more.

I wanted to stop & watch the candymaker in Japan. Sorry, cannot remember her name. When we arrived, we saw a camera crew filming a segment for the Travel Channel show on Christmas in Disney. Here's the "guide". She's on the left in the red shirt. I think her name is Samantha Brown. Could be wrong about that.

It was interesting to see all the different "takes" they were doing. They were there for quite a long time. Then when I watched the show, this was just a little bit. If you blinked, you missed it!

Walked over to the American Adventure. Here's the gingerbread house.

Later in the evening, it was time for the Candlelight Processional. The narrator was John O'Hurley. He performed a very good reading.

Another evening in Epcot, we decided to catch the Tree Lighting Ceremony. It was very cute.
