LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

Leave Jack alone! I love Jack, he is hot & a great actor & just looks like he would be a good person. He is not boring, the storylines they've given him lately have been boring. Big difference. :rotfl:
Besides, they can't get rid of the DOCTOR. Of course, Locke is so amazing he probably can operate on people too. I don't trust him, but he is the best actor & I love him anyway.
My expendables:
Boone

Yep, he is the only one I'm willing to lose out of the men. I would have said Jin but after last night, I am completely into his character. I no longer like Sawyer at all, but he provides a nice edge.
My male must-haves, in order:
Jack
Locke
Jin
Hurley
Sawyer

Michael & Walt haven't caught me yet. Although Michael is cute & I like the actor. I did not like Walt sweetly offering to help his dad build a new raft when he will probably burn that one, too. Boone is boring, and creepy besides. And Sayid lost me when he tortured Sawyer. Torture=not cool.

Do you really think it will be Claire's baby to die when the psychic made such a big deal about the baby being special & how it needed to be RAISED? I seriously doubt it is the baby. I find Kristen on E! to be incredibly accurate.
Thanks for starting this thread!!!!

Allie
No, I don't really believe it will be the baby. I just can't bear to think that it's one of the characters I love already :(.

Here's the quote: Charlie is not the one who will die. But I can tell you that this person is well-loved, well-featured and well, doomed. It is one of the fourteen series regulars -– one of the BIGGEST characters -- and the episode is guaranteed to make you bawl your ever-lovin’ eyes out. It's a boy who dies. Basically, something catastrophic happens, and because someone LIES about what happened, ultimately, they are unable to be saved.

I do see how it could be a possibility EXCEPT for the line "it's one of the 14 series regulars. That baby IS one of the main characters. I think it's fair to say he's well loved, and a baby dying would make me bawl my ever-lovin' eyes out!

*Sigh* but no, I'm pretty sure it's going to be Sawyer, Locke, Hurley or Jin (just because I don't want it to be).

I would not mind seeing Locke gone,he gives me a major case of the creeps

I don't think it will be Locke - he seems way too important to the ongoing plot.. helping people come to peace with their problems and directing them to a new life. I could see him going bad maybe.. but not getting killed off.

I'm hoping it's not Hurley, Sawyer or Sayid - I enjoy all of those characters for one reason or another.

If I had to make a guess.. just a guess on my part, not based on any spoilers I may have read..

I think it will be Michael - and I think it will be caused by Walt. Its been touched upon that Walt has "powers" to control animals - like that bird that died.. maybe something he does when he gets angry. I have to wonder if something Michael says or does will make Walt angry and out of a fit of rage, Walt will "do" something to hurt him.

Just a guess on my part.

UGHHH!!! Every time someone posts a new idea I instantly think - yeah, that could be it. I'm too impressionable :) !!
Good theory. I don't consider Michael one of the most loved characters, but they said the person will die because of a lie and I can totally see Walt lying. Last night I wanted to shake him when he let Jin get his rear end kicked when he really burned the raft down. Walt is one freaky kid!!
If I had to pick one to be killed off, I'd probably kick Michael off first. He's just so angry! I haven't been able to warm up to him yet.

Okay, what about Locke? Since they said that someone dies b/c someone lies...Locke knows that Walt started the fire, so he lies to cover up for Walt. I still think it's a possibility that Walt might die, too. That WOULD make everyone bawl b/c he's just a child.

I just can't see them killing Locke. He's got something to do with each character...he's been invovled with almost all of them in some sort of way...I just don't see it being him. I also don't think I'd cry if it was Locke. I'd miss his creepiness...but I don't think it'd make me cry. Walt would make me cry...and I could see him lying..but is he one of the "biggest" stars? I don't think so. My money is still on Hurley...although I hope it's not him!

On other sites a lot of people think it will be Locke. I think he fits the description, but unless a LOT happens between now and then, I think he's too integral to the plot.
I also think Walt is going to have a lot more influence on storylines.

IMHO, who's dispensible? Everyone else.

Sawyer is hot, hot, hot, but could the show go on without him? I hate to say it but yes. I think they would be crazy to kill him off, though. He does give the show an edge, as someone else mentioned already.

Jack is the do gooder. They would do well to write in a lot of conflict for him. Otherwise, he's boring and totally dispensible. I guess they might want to keep the doc. around, though.

Jin hasn't added anything to the show so far (although I do love him) that necessitates keeping him around.

Boone is beautiful but doesn't have a lot of substance to his character.

Sayid has lots of technical knowledge and survival skills. If they lost him it wouldn't make too much of a difference. They have Locke and Kate who can track. Of course Sayid would come in handy if they need to torture someone in the future!

Michael hasn't added anything to the show as far as I can tell. But I don't consider him well loved. I don't think it's him.

Hurley - well we may know more about why he could be essential after next week, but so far just a cool dude who provides comic relief. How tragic would it be for Hurley to win the lottery, crash on an island, survive the crash, then die because someone told a lie. My guess is still Hurley, although I'm hardly ever right about these things

I also think it's a possibility that it will be Hurley, but I hope it's not. The show is going to be way too serious if they take him off! He is the comedic relief on there. He gets everyone to loosen up. They'll all end up killing each other.

Do you think it could be Claire? The circle of life...her baby is born, but she dies during childbirth?

Sillyme...that's a good thought about Claire. Then we'd get to see what happens if the baby isn't raised by her. Hmmm...

Actually, I'm hoping the "boy" part of the spoiler is wrong.

Of course that would make everyone bawl...you'd have to have a heart of steel not to cry over that. It would be up to everyone to watch over the baby and try to protect him/her. The actress who portrays Claire was off for awhile, so she apparently has other things going on in her life. It's a possibility she's leaving for good.

Did we see Walt burn the raft? Or was that from another spoiler? I just watched the episode last night and I told my husband that I was sure that it was Walt. Do we know for sure?

Yes, we know for sure. In the last episode, when Locke and Walt are playing that game (can't think of the name), Locke asked Walt why he burned the boat and Walt said because he was tired of moving and liked the island. They never said how Locke knew Walt burned it...who knows with him!

wow!!...reading everyone's posts and ideas is just as good as watching the actual show...

I wonder if more conflict between Jin and Michael is going to arise because Locke & Walt are keeping it secret (i.e. lying) about Walt burning the raft. Maybe Michael & Walt get into another fight and one of the dies because Michael still thinks Jin burned the raft. Or Jin thinks Michael holds him responsible & the resentment about that and Sun starts another fight?

I don't consider Michael a big character alone, but when you take into account his relationship with Walt & all the pain he went through loosing him this first time - I can see bawling over his death.

Kristen on E! is the source of this part of the spoilers. I have been reading her for years and she is hardly ever wrong. I can think of maybe two instances. So I do think it will be a man. Besides, the psychic said it was vital CLAIRE raise her baby, so why would he make sure she would end up on an island with no hospital & die during childbirth? Remember, the psychic is entirely responsible for her presence on the island.

Darn! I missed that part and deleted the show. Sometimes the automatic commercial skip on my ReplayTV doesn't work as it should. It must have been right after a commercial break. I didn't see that scene at all. I'm glad to know that my "TV 6th Sense" is right on the ball . My husband calls me "The Plot-Meister".

Ya know what would be the kicker, is if the writers, etc. of Lost are purposely putting out these "spoilers" about someone dying in order to completely throw everyone off track and totally shock us all. :teeth:

According to the Fuselage website (at least I think that's where I read it-LOL) some of her spoilers changed or ended up being cut. The mind altering medication spoiler is supposedly one of them.

Other spoilers she reported turned out to be duds, like on the last Sawyer flashback episode she said there was supposed to be a scene that will blow the loyal viewers minds.

Anyway, I'm not saying I hope it's Claire, I'm just hoping it's not one of my guys.

ETA: I forgot about the rest of what you'd asked. I think the show/plot depends on shock value. Claire dying and the baby being raised by someone else would be shocking after all you mentioned. What you quoted me on was answering a question someone else asked about the possibility of Claire dying. Of course I hope the spoiler is wrong because I still think it's Hurley (but possibly one of the other well loved boys) and I don't want any of them to die.
There are just too many possibilites with the show and spoilers. I still think it's interesting that she used the word boy instead of guys or men. That could be interepreted to mean it might be Walt because he's a boy. OR she just wants to throw us off by thinking because she put "boy" it might make us believe it's Walt. Why didn't she just post who it is (I'm assuming she knows)? I'm pretty sure she's the one who reported that Ms. Huber would be the one to be killed on Desperate Housewives.
