LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

I'm also leaning towards Claire's baby being the one
The spoiler mentioned something about the circle of life, though, so I took it as someone else dies so Claire's baby can be born.

I don't know if its Hurley...reasoning being, the spoilers saying the BIGGEST person, or however that was phrased, leads to think Hurley right away. I don't think they'd give that obvious of a clue as to who will die...especially for this show. I wish someone could read what was in the subtitles when Hurley was on tv in Jin's backstory...that would be helpful. Any screen capture of it out there?

Re: Claire's baby. Didn't the spoiler also say it is one of the current 14 members of the cast? I don't think it could be it.

What I want to know about is the kid, Walt. What's up with him? The spoiler also said to be on the lookout for him, and suggested that he may have some powers. Ever notice the polar bear has only appeared after he read his comic book with the bear in it? Hmmm...

Well, I stayed up late last night looking for spoilers and reading theories and some of what I read was:

*The spoilers are sometimes misleading. I haven't really seen this, but people referred to other shows where the sources of the spoilers (mainly Kristen (sp?) at E!) have been wrong. In my opinion, the spoilers have been mostly right on. It seems a few "spoilers" ended up on the cutting room floor.

*Sawyer will be the one to die. It will be a redemption for him as he will die in the middle of a selfless act. *To my best knowledge this is only a theory, no proof to back it up* Thoughts are also that Josh Holloway and Matthew Fox have the best chance to make it on the big screen and may want to pursue other careers.

*ABC is losing money on LOST due to high production costs and may be looking to kill off the most expensive star *Jack*

*Locke will be the one to die.

There's so much more, but I could be typing all day.

So I guess you can make a case for killing every character. I immediately thought about Hurley when they said BIGGEST, most loved and boy because some of the spoilers in the past were so obvious. Also on the Desperate Housewives spoilers, they came right out and said Ms. Huber would be the one to be killed.

On the ABC message boards someone said they were Korean and it looked like lottery numbers shown in the subtitles. I have no idea if they know what they're talking about or not. They also said when Jin kept shouting while Michael was hitting him on the beach, Jin just wanted to know if Sun believed that he didn't burn the raft.

That's it! I don't recall where, but I remember reading that Hurley had won the lottery right before the flight. It could have been a news story on him.

Yes, Hurley is a lottery winner. Here's the eppy description for next week:

It's revealed that Hurley is a multimillionaire, thanks to a lottery payoff. Trouble is, the win has cursed him with family tragedies. More troubling is that the lottery picks that made him rich match numbers on a map Sayid got from enigmatic Rousseau-- which sends Hurley off into the jungle on a dangerous pursuit.

One more theroy: Naveen Andrews also has a film career so maybe Sayid is a target as well(hopefully not)

wow...... now if only we could find someone to tell us what it says !

Well, off that site, is this link, supposedly telling us what it says...
Sorry, should have put these both together...

Translation

Heres complete translation of what they said.....

Jin and Sun Translation

That pretty much jives with what I read from another person on a different message board. She didn't translate the Jin and Sun conversation but said Jin was asking Sun if she believed him when he said he didn't burn the raft.

She thought the TV screen subtitles had lottery numbers so that's pretty similiar to what this person translated. Also, since we know from spoilers he won the lottery that all makes a lot of sense.

Now if we could just figure out who is going to die!!!!! Here's my list of who I don't want to die, in order:

Sawyer: pure eye candy and I would miss his one-liners terribly! (BTW another great one liner in last night's episode: "Good thing I'm a saver and not a spender")
Locke: He's THE BEST actor on the show and I can't wait to see how his character develops.
Hurley: He's so cool and the comic relief is needed on this show.
Jin: After last night's episode I just love him.
Walt: I just hate to see a kid die, although I could live without him. I think it means something that he said he likes the island and doesn't want to leave. There's so much supernatural concerning him already I really don't think it will be him.
Sayid: I'm not sure of my feelings about him yet but I'd like him to stay around.
Charlie: Ya'll like him so I'll root for him too.
Jack: BORING!
Boone: I could live without him.
Michael: I can live without him too. He could use some anger management.

Did I leave anyone out? I only did guys since they're saying it will be a guy.

I read somewhere that there will be plenty of food to explain them not losing weight. If Hurley isn't around as long as the others, it will be easier to explain him not losing much weight.

OK, more spoilers to get the conversation going:

Claire's going to have her baby on the season finale and we'll find out who Ethan is. We'll also go back to them all getting on the plane.

Hurley won the lottery before getting on the plane but it caused nothing but heartache. His winning numbers have something to do with the numbers on the French woman's map. Doo dee Doo doo, Doo dee doo doo (sorry, my best Twilight Zone impersonation)

Oh that's nice. By then she'll be what...about 11 months pregnant? That's realistic. :sad2: I'm glad mine didn't last that long. :teeth:

Charlie is a crowd favorite around here(and yes I am rooting for him and Claire)

Yeah, but she can take her's off between takes :teeth: !!

If she was just 8 months pregnant when they crashed, I can see how the writers could think she could make it to May before delivering. I read recently that in "LOST time" they have just been out there about a month. There are only a few new shows between now and the finale (if it is mid May like they're saying) so she would just be slightly overdue. Each episode is supposed to cover only like 1-3 days on the island. I think this would make more sense to us viewers if they wouldn't keep going to re-runs!

Anyway, if you've ever been a fan of The Soprano's you've learned to be patient waiting for new episodes  !

I think that Jack's been generally quite useless lately, but I think the show needs a "straight man" to all the other eccentric characters!

At this point I really wouldn't mind seeing Charlie go-- I used to love him, but his doting obsession with Claire is starting to get really obnoxious.

I like most of the rest of the characters!

Leave Jack alone! I love Jack, he is hot & a great actor & just looks like he would be a good person. He is not boring, the storylines they've given him lately have been boring. Big difference. :rotfl:
Besides, they can't get rid of the DOCTOR. Of course, Locke is so amazing he probably can operate on people too. I don't trust him, but he is the best actor & I love him anyway.
My expendables:
Boone

Yep, he is the only one I'm willing to lose out of the men. I would have said Jin but after last night, I am completely into his character. I no longer like Sawyer at all, but he provides a nice edge.
My male must-haves, in order:
Jack
Locke
Jin
Hurley
Sawyer

Michael & Walt haven't caught me yet. Although Michael is cute & I like the actor. I did not like Walt sweetly offering to help his dad build a new raft when he will probably burn that one, too. Boone is boring, and creepy besides. And Sayid lost me when he tortured Sawyer. Torture=not cool.

Do you really think it will be Claire's baby to die when the psychic made such a big deal about the baby being special & how it needed to be RAISED? I seriously doubt it is the baby. I find Kristen on E! to be incredibly accurate.
Thanks for starting this thread!!!!

Allie
