LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

TV Guide Channel just did an hour long special leading up the Lost finale. They didn't say much that we didn't already know, but they did say:

There is a surprise coming up with Libby

Most of the 2 hour season finale will center on Desmond and his flashback

The finale will end in such a way that people will be spitting out all kinds of scenarios about how it will premier next season - and - lots of people's fates will be up in the air

General Season 2 spoilers:

05/22 - Harold Perrineau is not a regular for next season. He could be back as a guest star (à la Walt this season) but not as a regular cast member. Source: Kristin on E!Online

What a bummer - he's one of my favorites and it bugged me that we didn't see much of him (or Walt) this year.

I thought Walt looked very grown up compared to last year.

There was an article in USA Today today about Michael and Walt and it said how Walt has grown 3 inches in the past year and his face was starting to fill out and his voice getting a little huskier

Well it's about time. I bet they will introduce them to us kind of like they did the survivors of Flight 815. At least that's what I'm hoping. With backstories and all. That would be very cool.

Can I just say that I'm stoked about tonight's season finale? I picked up Mickey D's for supper so there are no dishes to do and have already told the kids and DH that barring someone lacerating an artery, Mama is not to be disturbed between the hours of 8 and 10.

And that's final. ;)

From the description of tonights show it looks to be 2 shows - a one hour "flashback/recap" episode and a new one hour show.

Actually, it's three hours - a repeat of the flashback episode and the two hour finale.

I'm taping it because tonight is my daughter's senior awards night. SO don't anybody tell me what happens :teeth:

That reminded me of another thing they said on TV Guide Channel. One of the hosts said there would be lots of new castmembers next season. She speculated that they would be Others.

I think you're right about introducing the Others.

LOL, about lacerating an artery. DH won't watch the show so I lock myself in our bedroom while he gets DS to bed. They know not to disturb me when Lost is on!

That would seem plausible, especially if Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley and Sayid are stuck with the Others after tonight's episode. I can't see the producers not featuring these central characters for the entire next season.

OK, so what do you think is Henry in charge of the others? I still find him very creepy! I can't believe they would just let michael go. Does he want to get off the show? Do you think he will get stuck not being able to get anywhere like Desmond? Do we really have to wait till Sept? This is almost as hard to wait for as a Disney trip. LOL - I read in the paper today they are coming out with Lost Dolls in the fall. So who is going to get what Doll. I want Sawyer he should look great next to my harley barbie. :teeth:

My morning news said the "action figures" (don't them dolls they said) will be 6 inches - so Barbie will have to look for another mate ;)

Wow! Lots to take in after last nite's epi

1) Someone asked about Fenry being the leader of the Others. I would not be surprised to find out he is Alvar Hanso. I got to thinking that he doesn't appear old enough to be Hanso, but then when I started cliking around hansocareers.org I saw lots of references to longevity :confused3

2) FWIW, on another forum someone posted screen caps of the guys at the monitoring station (final scene). Let's just say Matthew Fox must have a twin. One of them looks exactly like him

3) I guess we won't know until October, but this does look like the end for Locke and Eko. That's a real bummer for me because I like both characters and both actors. As for Desmond, it seems that he will be playing a central part of the story next year.

4) Do the Others have another island? What did the phrase mean that was written on the sign at the dock; neone know what it said? I didn't get a good look at the words.

It looked like Pella Ferry but that was just a quick glance, tonight I'll watch it on TIVO and see if I can read it better.

WOW, did you see all the info on Wikipedia? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanso_Foundation

I love wikipedia - for the Amazing Race & Survivor fans, tons of info out there. Especially AR, lots of pre/during/post race "gossip".

I think Michael & Walt won't be back. Especially since we already heard that Harold P. is not a regular next season, and Walt really does look a lot more grown up.

I can't imagine Locke not coming back, and honestly can't remember what he was doing the last time we saw him last night? There was way too much to pay attention to.

Did anyone notice how NEW the washer & dryer were in the hatch??? I noticed them right away because that's the type I want to get!

I wish we could have heard more about what was written in all those journals!

IF Locke & Eko were killed the rest of the group would never know they could have been watched. Correct? Did they ever tell anyone about the cameras and all?
