Does anyone want to try to decipher this? I know there's an egyptian C and A but that's about it.

I think that first symbol can be a C or an S.

Anyone else getting really tired of Jack? I'm so sick of his attitude, he thinks he's in control of everything everyone does. I'm glad Sawyer stole the guns now because Jack's acting like a wet noodles these days. :scratchin

I think he is definately an other.
I've been thinking about this. I really do think he's an Other, but what bothers me is that I don't think an Other would "accidentally" get caught in Danielle's trap. The Other's always know what's going on and always seem to be a step ahead of the Lostaways.

So...did he get caught on purpose? If so, why?

Is he part of a different group on the island? Zeke sort of hinted that Ethan might not be one of them.

Was Henry sent to be a spy in the group?

That's been my take on him from the beginning--which is bad because he's my fiance's favorite. Well...besides Kate...but we don't talk about that...or my Sayid addiction. ;)

There are lots of references to movies and books so I doubt there is any more to it. I think it's just showing that he's lying about his true identity. If anyone on the island is an Oz fan, they might pick up on it.

Does anyone else think we're about to see Jack go off the deep end? He just can't handle losing control...

I don't know...I think there may be something to this "Oz" thing...Oz was a place Dorothy went where the people in her life appeared in other forms and forced her to confront her struggles/failures/desires. :confused3

All the interlaced stories are driving me nuts. I think a lot of them are red herrings meant to throw you off the path. Did anyone else notice right before they dropped Sayid off in his backstory that the soildier in the back of the truck asked if he was married and had any kids? He then showed Sayid a picture of Kate. The guy in the truck was Kate's step father.

I'm leaning towards the 2 groups of others theory. Zeke's group and then the Ethan/Henry/Goodwin group. Their outward appearances are so different. The unkempt, dirty, torn clothes of Zeke's group and the clean shaven, well groomed, men of Ethan's group.

I think they both may have started out as Dharma people, maybe from different stations, but something drove them apart.

The Henry Gale thing, with the hot air balloon, is too Wizard of Oz for me to be real. It was way too rehearsed.

I immediately thought of the constellations of Apollo when I saw this. I still see some of them in the figures. You can reference post #1637 on pg 110 which tells of the six constellations being:
1 Swan
2 Arrow
3 Crow
4 Goblet
5 Serpent Handler
6 Hunter

Suzi

Good point :)

It's bothered me too that they keep showing these shots of dirty feet and torn clothes, then these two guys show up in neat clothes and wearing shoes. I also thought there's no way an other would get caught in a trap like that unless on purpose. One group swears they're not hurting anyone and Ethan kills that defenseless guy in the hole. These details bother me and I'd have to say I'm leaning toward a two-group theory as well because I can't figure out how else to explain the contradictions!

Okay i agree that the guy was an other, but this group of people is slowly turning against each other....without sticking together they are bound to get into more trouble. HAHA i agree about Jack being a "wet noodle".

Does anyone think that sayid knows what charlie did to Sun? i kind of got that feeling last night.

GOOOD Point. I didn't think of that.

The look that guy gave, once Jack came in didn't look like he was innocent. I just don't know what kind of other he is. I am so LOST! ;-) But a good Lost.

I do too. There was something about the way he looked at him.

Henry really wigged me out and kept giving me the creeps but I couldn't place why and then it dawned on me that he was in The Practice as William Hinks. Man he played a real psycho on The Practice.

I don't know. I think the look was more of a "Something ugly has to be done about these Others, and can I count on you to get ugly with me" kind of a look. I took it as he was wanting to circumvent Jack because Jack had forgotten what they were capable of. He asked Charlie if he had forgotten what they did to him, ie, hanging him from a tree, kidnapping Claire, etc...

I think it was more of a recruitment look, like he was trying to get support to square off against Jack for this guy.

I was wondering about that last night as well. Maybe he thinks Charlie would be a good fit for his "group" since he knows what Charlie is capable of.
