Why didn't he talk for 40 days? Was it something to do with his religion and the fact that he killed someone?

He told Ana that he spoke when she finally cried........I think she said after 40 days your going to speak now (while she was crying). His response was
it took you 40 days to cry. I think that is how is was said.

So he just decided not to speak because AL wasn't crying? Seems like there was more to it then that.

I'm not sure.....maybe its because she was showing more anger than anything....I thought it was strange that he didn't speak for the 40 days because of that. But I'm pretty sure that is what he said.

I'm guessing his having killed two "others" and the people still being dragged away weighed on him and so he delt with it by not wanting to talk for awhile.

5. Revelation 3:3 (I will come, I will come) This is Christ's warning that, to those who abide unfaithful and watch not, He will arrive as unexpectedly as a thief.

The show kind of fast forwarded through what went on between the tailies and Jin, Sawyer and Michael until the point where Ana-Lucia shot Shannon.

Well it happened! ... nearly. the numbers that were pulled for their lotto were, 4,8,15,16,23,24 &19
our lost numbers are
4,8,15,16,23,42

Nearly three hundred people played the numbers and won the prize for matching five numbers. Hummmm do you think their sixth number might have been 42?

Not only that but if you switch 24 around then you get 42.

Oh man... Tonight's episode was good. I wish we'd have had more of the meeting between the tailies and the original survivors but good enough. The last 2 minutes made the entire show I think...

Jack has the absolute most expressive eyes too, when he's looking at AL at the end...

Next week should be interesting with more of Kate's story.

Oh most definitely. And then I tortured my self by watching it again on the Tivo to make sure I hadn't missed anything...

And what I *really* want, is an mp3 of the instrumental music they play on the show. Just gotta figure out how to lift it off the season 1 dvd's

Didn't it seem like when Locke was doing the crossword puzzle, it had "Enkidu's Friend" in it and it made me think of Eko. I guess I'm looking for things that aren't really there.

This episode was wonderful. I actually felt sorry for Ana, especially near the end.

What's up with Kate? I can't wait to find out!! Does Sawyer say or do something to upset her next week? Does he really recognize her??

That scene was incredible! I could not get over how great his acting was in that scene. His eyes told it all.
