Possible Locke-Rose connections

She is the "Helen" on the phone

Didn't we see Helen in the episode when he talks to her on the phone?

As far as his legs go, ever since his last flashback, I've had the feeling that accident can be attributed to the two thugs that are looking for his father.

No, I don't think we did ever see her then. And I'm pretty certain it wasn't his "Helen's" voice.

No, we never did see the phone "Helen" and I get the feeling that is just what he was calling her. I don't think Helen was the woman's name. I think someone did post a while back that the Helen on the phone was not his Helen.

Didn't she say something that if he wanted to keep talking that he had to pay more money?

Phone Helen and Katy Segal's Helen are 2 different people. It has been confirmed by the writers several times.

I really like Rose as phone sex Helen.

Now I will have to go dig out my DVD so I can rewatch that episode. I have to hear the voice now to see if it could be Rose.

Here's some stuff from TVGuide.com

Question: You said that last week's episode of Lost would reveal a surprising link between Locke and Sawyer. What happened? — Ken

Ausiello: A line of dialogue was excised to make the link more subtle. But trust me — it's there.

Question: Somehow, I don't think that it is a coincidence that Locke's father was a con man just like Sawyer. — David

Ausiello: See, Ken — I told you it was there.

Question: Was Rose blind and now she can see? — Jammer

Ausiello: No.

Question: OMIGOD! Rose can't have a baby? — Josh

Ausiello: That's not it, either.

03/29 - The Rose-Locke link doesn't have anything to do with the hatch. Here's another clue: Depending on your interpretation of [March 22]'s episode, Rose may also share something in common with Jin. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

Maybe Bernard had an affair, or it could be he was going to leave Rose.

Thanks for continuing to post spoilers and keep this thread alive. :goodvibes

It was very interesting to see the end of last weeks' episode...so she was in the hospital with Hurley. Is she really a doctor? Is she still crazy?

I love this show!

Here's some spoilage from TVGuide.com's Ask Ausiello.

Question: Any news about Walt or Michael on Lost? — Gaz

Ausiello: Yes, big news. Michael will be getting a flashback episode on May 17, during which we'll learn what, um, Others stuff he's been up to these last couple of months. Whatever it is he's been doing, I understand we'll meet a very different Michael from the one we left. Walt will also be back, and yes, he'll still be played by Malcolm David Kelley, who is probably something like 24 years old now.

Question: Can you tell me when Kate and Sawyer will hook up on Lost? — Amy

Ausiello: I thought we might see some action between them in May, but now it looks like this season's final episodes will focus on Kate and Jack's journey to first base. I'm also hearing that the aforementioned May 17 episode contains a great scene between Jack and Sawyer. Even better than the poker stuff.

Question: Will any main characters die on Lost before the season is over? — Paul

Ausiello: No comment.

Question: Was Rose in a wheelchair, too? Is that what she has in common with Locke? — Jammer

Ausiello: Nope. The truth will be revealed tonight!

Question: Could Locke's con-man Poppa perhaps once gone by the alias "Sawyer?" — Bobby Nash

Ausiello: I suppose anything's possible (he says with a sheepish grin.)

Question: Was Rose born with no arms and no legs? And when the plane crashed on the island she then sprouted them? Could that be what she has in common with Locke? — Dan

Ausiello: I probably don't say this enough, but I seriously love you guys.

I just got my parents hooked on this show and they have been watching Season 1 on DVD. My dad & stepmom noticed that when Hurley has told people how much he won in the lottery, he has said different amounts to different people. I never caught onto that and I've never read anything about it. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

No I hadn't, that's interesting.

I never noticed that either. I thought he may have said one time he won over a hundred million and another time he may have said the exact amount. Did he actually give more than one "exact" amount? If he did, what were they?

Wow! One of the better episodes yet. And the previews! I need some time to digest it all....
