If it's okay w/the organizer of the swap, you can have my spot (8/25-9/2) because our plans have changed (again)... my mom is not joining us, so we will not have the wheelchair so will be bringing our stroller from home...

Thank you all for allowing me to join in... i'm sure i'll take advantage of a swap on a future trip!

Sorry, we have no space available. And since DISboards decided to disallow swaps for pay, there are very few swaps left on here. There are a couple of Yahoo Groups with swaps, although there isn't much activity there. Sorry ...

One suggestion would be to check Craigslist and/or local consignment sales near you for a cheap, decent stroller to bring with you, then leave there. At a sale last month in Seattle, I saw a couple of Mac Volos in decent condition for $30-$40 each ... way cheaper than renting a stroller at WDW! And if you don't want to start your own swap, I know that Give Kids the World (an Orlando charity) will gladly pick up used strollers from Disney-area resorts.

No, I haven't heard from her either. As the date gets closer, it would be a good idea for you to contact the person after her.

I haven't read all of this thread but the "swapper" after me contacted me and will be there the 24th. Will the AKV keep the stroller for her in baggage if I drop it off on the 23rd?

Hi Michelle,

You'll need to PM allbluezoo to arrange for him/her to leave the stroller at luggage services at Polynesian for you. Please make sure to give them your full name, date and approximate time of arrival, reservation #, cell phone #, anything to help ensure that they can find the stroller for you.

As of right now, JGoin is next in line after you, arriving on 8/8.
