*Lost stroller*

Thank you for the pictures Drakethib! I love the ribbons on the stroller:cool1:. How old is your daughter? My son is 3 1/2 and has never liked strollers, so we might not even use it that much. I agree about saving the box and maybe we should also decorate it. For what I read on other threads it will be easier to locate in case it gets stored in luggage services.

The stroller looks so cute! Thanks for the pics. Since I'm planning on doing face to face swaps, what should be done with the box? Any opinions?

Drakethib, how did your trip go?

disneybridetobe, how do you like the stroller?

Hope everyone is doing well, I can't believe will be there in just 22 days!:woohoo:

Any chance you can leave the box in a locker or car? In your hotel room?

It would be really nice to keep the box ...

FYI to all.

I dropped the stroller off on Friday at POP bell services in the box (note the picture) and I called Disneybrides and her hubby answered and gave them the ticket number (reciept) and CM Name. Yesterday they called and said that bell services could not find the stroller.

They also said that bell services workers wasn't exactly being helpful.

I asked them to go back and tell Bell Services to look for something in a box as I think the CM was looking for a stroller.

I am waiting to hear back from them to see if they were able to get it.

That is why I suggested decorating the box. It would be easier to identify if we had a description of a particular box and not just a generic one. Hope they are able to find it.

Glenna, What happens if they don't find it? Was Disneybride's reservation # noted on the stroller box? We need to come up with some kind of strategy to avoid this from happening again.

The confirmation was given to bell services.

Oh no! From another swap I am a part of I have heard you need to be really persistent about having bell services finding the stroller. Especially if you did everything right and got a claim ticket. I would ask for a manager. I hope everything works out!

I didn't mean I would just toss the box :goodvibes I was just wondering what I should do with it when exchanging the stroller. I'm sure when I give you the stroller you wouldn't want to lug it around with you at a park.Would it fit in a locker at the park? Would it be easier to just leave everything at Bell services? Now I don't know though with the problem at bell services already.

Ack!!! Drake, do you have a claim ticket?

As for what to do with the box, I don't know. Maybe we should ditch the box if it's going to cause problems at Bell Services?

I think it will get damaged faster if we just pass it around without a box. :confused3

I just got word that the stroller has been retrieved!

Yay!!!

I know from airline experience that strollers are more likely to get damaged if they're in a duffel bag. :(

Guess we should make a point of mentioning that the stroller is in a box, if it's at Bell Services.

For those of us doing face-to-face transfers, I don't really have an answer as to what we should do with the box. I'm happy to wait till the 15th or 16th(when I'll have a car) to get the stroller, and I'll bring it right to your hotel, coffeedog.

Yay again for locating the stroller!!!

Yahoo! :cool1: Does anyone else have any opinions about what to do about the box? Maybe a duffle bag?

This is what I wish I would have done.

Write the next persons info on the box with a sharpie and with their confim #, Arrival date, and contact number. This could also be done on a piece of paper and ask bell services to tape it on.

When that "new"person recives the box, scratch off the info, and the next persons info goes on so on and so forth.
