Lost shipment from Disneyshopping.com!

I ordered the tinkerbell lamp that was on these boards a few weeks ago. I ordered it on November 17th. and it shipped on November 19th. As of today I still have not received it. When I go to tracking it shows it is still in Ohio and its been there for days. I called Disney and they said sorry but they are out of 6 of the 8 items I ordered! They gave me credit for those 6 items and will send out the other 2 items. I asked for express shipping since I have already waited since November 17th. and was told no. What I really wanted was the tink lamp :( but it is one of the 6 items they no longer have in stock. Has this happened to any of you before and are there any more options? I would have liked a comparable replacement instead of a credit!

You might want to look on DisneyDeals.com. They have a Tinkerbell lamp. Search using "tinker bell" -- two words. Hope that this is close! It is really cute.
 
I would contact the shipper and find out why it's sitting in Ohio.
 
I placed an order on Nov 18th that included the tinkerbell lamp. It was shipped on the 21st and I received it yesterday. I just bought the lamp because it looked cute and was on sale for a great price. I really have no need for it. If you really want it, I would be willing to sell it to you for what I paid for it, plus shipping. I think I paid like $14.99 and used the 10% discount code. I'd have to look at my receipt. Send me a pm if you're interested. It is a pretty lamp.
 

I have had nothing but trouble with disneyshopping and shipping this year. I have had orders take over 2 weeks....sitting in a distribution center(where my order is now) then come smashed and/open...(my last order right now is sitting there) then amazingly days will pass and it will appear and the site will anounce that it is delivered. I ordered a canister this summer and it came without Mickey on it and they anounced they were sold out and that was that. Oh they wanted me to ship it back to them???? I finally got a $10 gift card for the agrivation. Hope you can find a solution. Maybe someone will return one. :earsgirl:
 
I checked out on Nov. 18 with my credit card, charge came through, still no package? It has never taken this long. They have untill Friday and then I am calling if I can get a number off thier website. I am hoping they are just busy due to the good deals they had that week because everything was very reasonable!!!!

I ordered on 11/21 and got an email from them saying it was shipped 11/26 did you get and email saying it was shipped? Have you clicked on the tracking number on that email? When did they charge you?
I got an email from disneyshopping today giving you $10 off personalized items but as far as I can remember they upped the prices $10 from earlier this week to give you $10 off plus then you can't use any other code? Is that a bargain???? :earsgirl:
 
My most recent order was messed up as well. The system sent it to my old address, yet my email confirmation showed my correct address. I only moved 1.5 miles, but it was going to take a week for FEDEX to retrieve it and redeliver. To add to the mess, the shipment was split into 2 packages and sent 2 days apart. I picked up the package that was sent last, but the other package is gone for good. Disney and FEDEX can't agree if the package was ever sent(never received an email on the first package or a tracking number). This package was in Disney's system as shipped on November 17. Perhaps the warehouse was having difficulties that week? I spoke to Disneyshopping.com customer service yesterday and the missing item is no longer available, so they issued credit and are sending a gift certificate( we are Platinum Best Guests, perhaps that is why the offer of the certificate). I would call and get the tracking number and call the shipper today.
 
I had trouble with them this year too. I had ordered 2 costumes from ebay for my boys for the MNSSHP, both from different sellers. I ended up never receiving them, one seller stated it had never been sent, the other never responded. I ended up getting a refund(plus a relatiation neg. feedback :confused3 )

So 10 days before the party I ordered from disney and had them shipping to POP. Not only did they not show up, but the tracking number was invalid(I was told the reason by disney but it didn't make sense). Anyway, we ended up doing a last minute run to Walmart. I asked POP to refuse shipment when it arrived, since Disney said they would take them back. After a few weeks I contacted Disney and they still hadn't arrived. Fast forward to the middle of November when they show up on my doorstep. Rather than worry about the hassle of mailing them back I just opened them up and are letting the kids play with them, but man what a hassle!!!

I made an order on 11/16 and I just got it yesterday. I tried serveral times to check the online status and everytime it said it couldn't retrive the info from the warehouse. They never sent me a tracking number either. I also made another order on 11/23 and got an email with a tracking number that still doesn't work. Also, I tried to email Guest Services and their email wasn't working! It sounds to me like Disney shopping needs to figure out a better way to ship and communicate with their customers. I think that having to wait 2 weeks for an order is crazy and if they don't have an item they should have never "sold" it to you in the first place. I don't know if I will be making any more orders with all the problems.
 
Ok I just checked my order....ordered 11/21 sent 11/26 according to email....according to FEDEX site it is still in the Martinsbury, WV facility since 11/26...last update 11/28 , isn't today 11/30 ?????wonder where it is for 2 day. Oh if forgot it say expected date for delivery 12/3...... I wonder if someone is traveling with it on his bike!!!! :rotfl:
 
I had alot of problems trying to track my last shipment; when I called guest services, the agent replied that I had to wait a few more days before I could inquire as to my shipment. This made no sense to me because at certain times, I could track the shipment online and other times it said something about the inventory system being down. Luckily I got my package two days later.
 
Hmm, interesting. My items are shipped DHL to the post office from disney and the mail lady drops them off. I have had no delay or shipping problems, got two packages yesterday in fact, and expecting more today. They always split up my order and I get them in several packages, usually 2 a day (I wonder if that is the post office though).

I do ALWAYS have smashed boxes where the tape is falling off. It really aggrevates me, if something is broken, which happens about every 3rd order they have been good about replacing it quickly. I have had several several problems as far as disney selling me something for $8, then saying out of stock, days after it said it shipped, then going to ebay disneydeals and seeing it on there for $32. I was livid! I called and they didn't have anything to say. I was suppose to get a call back from someone and never did, happened with 4 different items!

I have really found that their "sales" are quite a joke often and they change prices almost daily and according to the promotion that they are running. The past 2 weeks I have been watching the storybook ornaments, prices have changed almost DAILY! I do get some good deals, but you have to watch their "coupons" such as the personalized items one this week.

Yes mine is DHL too but now the tracking info says FEDEX and they sent me an email in July after I complained about the condition of the boxes saying that oh wonderful now we are shipping FEDEX....NOT HERE. Same crappy DHL and what you get it delivered, I have to drive 5 miles to the post office to check and see if it came in, thats why I like to TRY and check in online but like I said its been in WV since 11/26 with no update since 11/28????? And when I complained in Oct about the last shipment coming bashed in they send you the canned reply of isolated incident...HA HA. Unfortunatily I am waiting for the MM mix stick from them and also want to buy a few things today for Christmas....between a rock and a hard place...it just seems to me in the last year they have gone downhill big time....I wonder if someone new is running it?
Oh and with the order last month I could not get the codes to go into basket and after trying for 24 hr I called and the supervisor actually told me to go to the library and enter the order there!!!!!!! but I have 2 computers with different ISP's so that was not the problem and they had to take the order over the phone and screwed that up too....still don't know if that is fixed....Sorry to go on sooo long but as you can see I am very upset with them and need to vent to someone. The order date for the lamp was on November 17th. It shipped on the 19th. and its still according to tracking in Ohio and has been there since the 24th. Delivery date still says the 28th. I called FedEx with the tracking and they are suppose to be looking into it. I don't like "smartpost", but it looks like I have no choice of shipper. I will let you know what if anything happens with this. Jcebama ~ So nice of you to offer your lamp! If I cannot get this worked out I will pm you. Thanks again and what nice people we have here on disboards! :)
 
Thought I would let you know I went to the PO yesterday and package was there...not in WV????and it was in good condition for the first time. Hope you all get yours :earsgirl:
 
My packages always arrive via USPS. I've never had luck tracking my packages online. I hope everyone receives their order in time and without damage.
