Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

Who's watching tonight!!!

I was. I still can't figure out if they're counting Aaron as one of the Oceanic Six. Kate's lawyer said that she saved the lives of five other people, so what do people think happened to his mother?

I'm also starting to wonder if they have to give a life for every life that gets off the island...or for every trip off the island or something like that.

I just *KNEW* that Kate had Aaron - -- I don't know how, but I did! Maybe the scene with Claire hanging laundry.....a bit of foreshadowing?

But how on earth was her lawyer planning on putting HIM on the stand?!??! A bit young, don't ya think?

I don't think the lawyer wanted Aaron to go on the stand, just be seen in the court room to gain sympathy for Kate. Here's a woman who is raising the child of a woman who died in the plane crash kind of thing.

Ack!! I'm on the west coast and I'm at work until 9pm- LOST starts in 45 mins and it's killing me!!! popcorn::

Luckily I only work 2 minutes from home. ;)

Sawyer was reading The Invention of Morel. It is about a fugitive who hides on a deserted island somewhere in the south Pacific. Tourists arrive, and his fear of being discovered becomes a mixed emotion when he falls in love with one of them. Morel, the main character, uses a machine to reproduce reality!

I was under the impression that she was claiming Aaron as her own.

And we all have to remember that in the flash forwards, the Oceanic 6 are all lying about what happened in the crash and during their time on the island. Tonight was the first time we've heard anything about right after the crash - when Jack was on the stand and he said that there were EIGHT survivors of the crash and how Kate was the hero but she couldn't save 2 of them. So maybe we can assume that they're telling people either that Claire was one of the 2 that Kate couldn't save and now Kate's raising Aaron as her own or they're just outright lying that Aaron is Kate's baby.

This show drives me crazy! Every time they answer some questions (like tonight, so now we know why Kate isn't in jail in the future), they give us more things to wonder about. Ugh!!!

I thought that too, but the math wouldn't work out. If they were only on the island a couple of months and then she gets rescued with a 4 or 5 mth old, it doesn't make sense logistically.

I was thinking maybe she actually WAS pregnant with Sawyers baby and called him Aaron to remind her of the island. That would explain why she 'broke up' with Sawyer when he wasn't thrilled about the possibility of the baby, and why Jack wouldn't have wanted to see the baby. Why else would Jack be upset that Kate had Claire's baby?

I don't understand Jack said on the witness stand yesterday there were 8 oceanic survivors sp?? but everything I have read said 6 survivors what I'm missing?

He said that there were 8 people who survived the crash.

There are 6 who get off the island.

Yes, but it's pretty obvious that time is different on the island. Maybe that has something to do with Aaron's age off the island.

I think he is Claire's Aaron and Kate is raising him as her own. That child would be too old to be Kate and Sawyers, IMHO. Aaron would be older by a good year than a baby of Kate's.

Remember that the actor that plays Jack accidentally said this:

"If you're going to talk about from Jack in the plane crash to Jack in the future, that's about a year-and-a-half, and Jack on the island now would be about 120 days."

Also, they could have had Aaron be played by a somewhat older baby just so he can talk and say 'mommy'. It may be as simple as that.

Kate called him a "baby" a couple of times last night in the FF so maybe he is younger than he looks.

I love this show! Can't wait to find out what's really going on!

They showed Jack looking at the newspaper it said 2007 and that would make AAron about the right age wouldn't it if he was born in 2004, we really don't know when Kate when to trial

The credits last night listed "old" Aaron as only : "2 year old boy". I would guess that would be his rough age then when Kate is on trial.

My guess is that the story of the 2 that didn't survive must be tied to the fact that 2 bodies (or perhaps graves) are found along with the 6 that leave the island. Otherwise, I don't know why the story of the 2 dead 815'ers would have to be told as part of the lie.

Jack would be upset if he in any way had anything to do with Claire not getting off the island. He's not upset that Kate has the baby, he just can't bear to see the baby. Jack likes to fix things and he was the one who called the freighter to get them "all" rescued. If his actions caused Aaron to lose his real mother well then the guilt would make him upset. IMHO

Jack said "8 survivored the crash". He said "2 didn't live" thus 6 were available to be rescued or recovered from the island.

ICF it was the very show of the season, where Jack told Kate they had to go back for the others

ooooooooooooooo. That's good too!!
