Even after I read about something, I go back and watch it again and can't see it! Like when someone said there was black smoke when the "Oceanic lawyer" walked out of the room after talking to Hurley at the mental hospital. I watched it several times and it just looked like a shadow to me. Do people slow it down and watch it frame by frame or something?

I watched that over & over & did not see smoke, there was a shadow maybe.

At the end of LOST 4.4, FutureKate goes home and the nanny/babysitter tells her that "he" is asleep. This is the "he" that Kate was referring to at the end of Season 3.

She walks in and has those tears of a mother who has been through stress (in this case her trial) as she looks down on a toddler aged blond boy. As he stirs awake and looks at up at her, she says, "Hey Aaron".

End of Show.

(Claire does NOT make it off the island. Whether she lives or dies is unknown, but based on the above, she will in fact die and Kate will care for Aaron."

Remember in season 1 the Psychic told Clair that it was imperative that she raise Aaron. He knew the plane was going to crash but got her on the plane so she could not give Aaron up.

Notes from Episode 4.3 (airing this coming Thursday)

Sayid makes it off the island and in the future is a hired killer for Ben

During one of his assignments, he gets shot by one of his targets and ends up at a vet's office to be sewn up.

We see Ben's off-island house where we see a secret room full of suits, fake passports and lots of money in different currencies.

The time difference between the real world and the island is about 31 seconds.

Ben has been off the island for some time since the purge. He is able to come and go at will just like Richard and Ethan.

... I was just reading one of them and there is a rumor going around that Claire and Baby Aaron get on the helicopter to be rescued and then Daniel takes Aaron from her and pushes Claire out of the helicopter into the ocean....some of them even think she may die! They go on and on and when I read my brain starts to hurt! Can't decide yet if I like knowing this stuff ahead of time or if I should just watch it on TV as it happens...we will see.

BUT I thnk he says that what the intial guy says is fake, that the guy is a fake.....I wonder if that doesn't mean that some of this can be true....

Numerous places have listed the rumor of Kate raising "Aaron" in the future so I would imagine there is some hint of truth to that....

As to how / if / when Claire dies I hadn't heard that part until I read it on here.

I'm very interested in how Sayid ends up being a hired killer for Ben in the future?!!?!?! One would think the first person Sayid would have wanted to kill would have been Ben

"The Economist" - Episode 4.3

Sayid is playing golf. He bets a man he can't make the shot with his chosen club. The man asks Sayid what he does for a living. Sayid says he is one of the Oceanic 6 (FLASH FORWARD). The man wins the bet but says that Sayid does not have to pay. Sayid insists and goes over to his golf bag and pulls out a gun and shoots the man.

Now on island, Sayid starts asking about the helicopter and works with Lapidus to get it fixed. Then the part from the promo where Sayid he can get Charlotte in exchange to be flown from the island.

Sayid is now in Paris and comes up to a cafe and sits down with a woman. To Sayid this feels like it is part of another assignment.

Sayid, Miles and Kate go to the Others barracks and here a noise in one of the houses where they find Hurley tied up and gagged in a closet. Sayid goes looking around another house where he finds a secret room behind the bookcase. There is a video machine and stairs leading down. Sawyer comes up behind Kate mouthing "Shhhh". Team Locke surround Miles and Hurley and go into capture Sayid.

Sayid wakes up in bed with the woman from the Cafe. They are acting like a real couple. She works for "AN ECONOMIST" and is waiting for a phone call and will have to leave Paris for how long she does not know.

Daniel calls Regina on the freighter to track his signal and send him a package. The package arrives...and Daniel says it is late by 31 seconds which means island time is different from real time. (TELEPORTATION) He and Jack start unloading the package.

Sayid gets put in the same chicken wire covered windows room as Kate was held in Season 3. He sees Ben being held there and he does not like being there too. Locke leaves and tries to get Miles to tell him about the freighter and Miles refuses. Sawyer tries to hook up with Kate "Electricity, running water, a roof over our heads, what more do we need". Kate enjoys the banter but does not seem to take it seriously.

Sayid goes to the opera with the woman from the cafe. They come back and do the wild thing. (Woo Hoo Naveen gratuitous nakedness). He wakes up and hears her on the phone. "He wouldn't tell me, but he was looking for you." She goes to get her gun and turns and shoots Sayid who has jerked out of the way but is caught in the shoulder. Sayid gets his gun and turns and shoots the woman.

Back on the island, Sayid is deep in conversation with Ben. Locke returns and Sayid convinces them that there best chance is to let him return with Charlotte and get to the freighter so he can check it out for both teams. He returns to the helicopter location and Frank ends up flying Sayid, Naomi's body and Desmond since no one else wanted to go.

The flying off island feels like a series finale in its editing. Sayid feels rescued and gets really emotional!

IN the future, Sayid is bloodied and rummaging through a vet's office after hours. We then see a doctor working on Sayid to remove the bullet. As the camera pans up, it is revealed that the doctor is in fact BEN, who apparently has some type of unforeseen medical abilities (or he could not operate on his own back). Ben is off island and obviously not one of the Oceanic SIX. Ben says he is glad that "they" know who Sayid works for and that "they" know that he is coming for the rest of them.

The fact that Abbadon sent them to Lostisland is how they were able to find it when others cannot. Remember they were going for Ben. They came with Biohazard bags and gas masks probably because of the purge.

And in case you missed it, this summer there was a trailer at Comic Con 2007 with a HUGE clue about some of the properties of the island. Take special note of the numbers on the rabbits, AND think of the movie TimeCop when you watch this.

Omg I have never seen this. Did you see the hidden clues. There was a blimp os a saying "God loves you as he loved Jacob"!!!! There is also a building too and I say what looks like to be a gosh of Jacob standing behind the the guy talking.

Thats so freaky. Anyone else seen these and can you explain what they mean? I'm so clueless

Didn't Ben say that Sayid has to kill people to keep his friends alive? I have no idea how or why, but I thought that maybe he has to kill people who would somehow interfere with the lives of the Oceanic Six. If this is true, maybe the guy in the coffin from the end of last season is some random person that Sayid had to kill to help Jack somehow. It would explain Jack saying that the guy was neither friend nor family.

Sayid was looking at a bracelet that Naomi was wearing. It looked like something was written on it. Did anyone see what it was? Also the woman he killed in the hotel room was wearing the same bracelet.

Sayid had taken the bracelet off of Naomi and looked at it more closely, like he recognized it. How is that possible when he hadn't seen the bracelet on that woman yet or had he

Well we know he couldn't perform surgery on himself when he needed the spinal surgery but we don't know much about Ben and the training he has had since the Dharma purge.

We now know that he's been off the island, presumably many times, so who knows what he did during those periods off island.

Of course, if it's just a bullet in the shoulder, I don't think it's major surgery. People in movies dig those things out all the time.
