Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

Locke was in the casket?....obviously I missed the end..(don't ask.:rolleyes1 )..for some reason I thought it was Penny's father..the Widmore guy. That's what I get for half watching.

Maybe she will say it is because Jack told them it was OK to get off the island:confused3 and if they went with Locke they would have been OK:confused3

If they stayed with Lock Sun would be dead.

DH and I are watching again and Sun says to Widmore " You know we aren't the only ones that left the island" I think she is offering to help find Desmond. I think she is blaming him for Jin's death.

I agree she was offering help to find Desmond.

Did anybody watch the alternate endings for the finale? Pretty cool!

I told DH back when we first saw the casket in the earlier episodes that it was Locke in it. He poo-poo'd me. VICTORY!!

So I supose the next season will show the groupd trying to get back to the island as well s flash backs to what happened to Sawyer/Locke and the gang on the island.

I didn't see the alternate endings. What were they and would they have changed the story much?:confused3

Well, I guess the endings would have changed the story. But, they were only created to throw off any potential spoilers. It was the scene with Ben and Jack in the funeral parlor with the open casket. As the camera pans back it reveals Locke in the casket. The 2 alternate endings have Sawyer and Desmond in the casket.

They filmed the three different endings to through people off, but I think it had to be Locke. At the end of last season when they had the first "flash forward," Jack keeps talking about how he should have listened to him (man in the casket). Well, Jack and Desmond never had a disagreement and the only thing Jack and Sawyer disagreed on was Kate. Last year, I was thinking that having Locke or Ben in the casket would be the only thing to make sense. Ben is obvisously still around, so that just leaves Locke.

I don't know why but even as we saw Ben talking I thought they would pan down and BEN would be in the casket (even though I knew it was supposed to be Locke).

If there were any questions about it Michael is definatly dead. I just read an article in TV Guide.

What about Jin??? I cried when the ship blew up! He was one of my favorite characters, and I just hate to see him gone for good.

Quick question for the detailed watchers: Was that the same boy playing Walter in the finale? If so, that boy has grown so much!! He looked like he was about 20 years old when he went to see Hurley!

It was the same actor, he definatly matured since the first season. I wonder if he has to go back to the island too? He was 12 during the first season, playing a nine year old, now he's 16, and is playing someone about the same age, (I'm not sure exactly how much time has passed when he goes to visit Hurley.) He could go back though since now his aging isn't really a problem.

Jin I have no idea about. I haven't read anything to confirm he's dead though, so I hope that no news is good news. Sun thinks he's dead though.

Also, if anyone has the first season on DVD, (or you can watch it on ABC.com,) in the first scene of the pilot, once you see Jack, next to him is a black bar, which looks like the same thing Ben uses when he teleports. I read that theory on a Lost forum I belong to.

What other LOST forums are worth while? I have looked at some, but they seem to be all over the place.

I think Sun is mad at Jack because he told her he would go down and get Sun but in the end he did not bring him back....Jin was running up the stairs but was unable to make it to the helicopter.
Kate told Sun to get on the helicopter with Aaron and she would go down and get Jin, but the next time it cut back to the freighter Kate was still faffing around on deck - I would've blamed her :rotfl:

Thanks ICF! I saw this the other day. I can't wait to jump right back into it. I got my Mom hooked on Lost now. She has been watching the reruns on SciFi channel on Monday nights. And I just gave her seasons 1&2 on DVD to check out.

I didn't know it was on the SciFi channel. Hmmm, I may have to watch some TV.

Is Season 4 even out on DVD yet?

I can't wait for the next season to start but I will miss Charlie.

Well now I am upset! I just asked my husband if he knew it was on tv right now and his answer was YES. WTH? Boy is he in trouble for not telling me. ;) He just said 'but we have ALL the seasons on DVD'. No dear, we don't have 4.

For those that have missed the info....

Season 5 starts on 1/21, meaning it's back to Wednesday nights. The 1st night it's a 3 hour event starting with a 1hr recap and then 2 new hours.

I checked this thread to see when Lost starts, and it starts on my birthday! And not only that, I'll be at Disney World that week, and my only park day will be 1/21 with the birthday ticket (that I'll upgrade to a hopper)....guess I'll make sure there is room on the DVR for Lost!! - that will make coming home a little bit easier, anyhow!
