Is it just me or did Michael's mother look like the lady who was the one who hired Miles to get rid of the "ghost" in her house.

Shocking ending tonight. I had no idea that Danielle and Karl would be the ones to die. I can't wait a whole month for a new episode.

Somehow I don't think Sayid screwed up.....remember that note about "don't trust the captain"? I think Sayid took Michael into the captain's office in order to force the captain's hand. I just can't believe Sayid would make such a mistake that big....he's the only intelligent one on that whole island!

I agree.....I NEVER expected Danielle to die! I figured she'd just hang around and at the very end of the show in 2010, they'd all leave the island and Danielle would still be there. I have a feeling Ben sent them out there deliberately so that Karl and Danielle would be killed; they were coming between Ben and his "daughter" Alex. Wonder what's going to happen to Alex now?

I think that maybe it was Richard and the rest of the Others, and they somehow got orders from Ben that Alex was coming and to shoot Danielle and Karl.

The first vision Michael had when he woke up in the hospital was Libby offering him a blanket. Then when he started shouting the real nurse came in to see about him and asked him if he wanted her to call Walt for him.

Yes, I think Ben set them up to get rid of Carl. He just had that look on his face when they said they would go.

Miles visited someone in California, Michael's mom was in NYC.

I wouldn't count on Rousseau being dead yet....people have a way of surving bullet wounds and other injuries on that island.

Some of the spoilers I've seen about this episode said that two were shot but only one dies so I believe Danielle is still alive. Probably playing possum to see who it is that was shooting at them. Once whoever it is takes Alex she'll follow them and rescue her (I hope).

Not spoilers but speculating here - I've also read somewhere, can't find it now, that Rouseau's flashback will surprise us because she didn't tell the survivors the full truth about her reason for being on the island. Have thought about that and as long as Ben and Alex are still alive even if Danielle does die Ben can tell Alex the story of her mother. He's been there since she arrived, he has the means for getting her background just like he did on our survivors and eventually Alex is going to want to know why Ben stole her from her mom and why he let mom live as long as she did.

That's what I thought. According to the map, they were near the temple. Ben said only the worthy could go, and he didn't think Danielle or Karl to be worthy. So they shot them to get Alex into the temple. That's my guess until we finally get to know what's going on.

I'm so bummed that we have to wait till April 24.

Here's some spoilers to keep us going...

TV Guide:

1) We will learn "exactly" what happened to Michael between leaving the island and him getting to NYC.

2) Michael is a "pivotal" part of the end of the season and he will have an "impact" on many of the characters, including Sayid.

3) We will see how the Oceanic 6 "escaped the island" and what happens to those that don't leave.

4) The Team Locke v Team Jack debate about who is right will "amplify"

5) We will learn who is in the coffin

6) More about the freighter people

7) We will also find out who "seemingly killed" Karl and Rousseau
