LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

He described the others as being castaway like when we know that is just a ruse. I was surprised Kate didn't say something about finding the costumes & beards when he was describing how they looked.

I set the timer on the VCR to tape tonights episode of Lost. It shut off just as the bullet hit AL. Can you tell me what happened after there? I'm never leaving again on Wednesday night!

Wow that must've sucked.....Sorry. Lost goes over time by 3-4 minutes. You might need to set your VCR accordingly next time.

As AL was dying Libby walked in and saw Michael with the gun. Michael then shot her twice and we saw her fall to the ground. Then Michael opens the safe where Henry is. They stare at each other for a few seconds and Michael shoots himself. Black screen.

Previews for next week show Kate saying "She's dead." Hurley telling Michael "I'm glad you're ok." Michael has his arm in a sling and is being held in the safe/prison. And now he's "in control of everything."

Holy COW! What an episode!! I can't believe it.

Did anyone see the commercial for the Hanso Foundation? Nice tie-in. Call 1-877-HANSORG; I got all circuits are busy. BTW, they updated the website: http://thehansofoundation.org/ They are really beefing up these "tie ins."

I too don't think Libby is dead. The way she looked when Hurley said "Maybe I'll remember where I'll know you from" makes me think there is a lot more to their story than we know.

This show has really been exciting these past few episodes.

One thing I don't get is how far the hatch is from the beach. It must be far since they had no time to get back to the hatch.

In one episode they showed where he knew her from.

I know but there's got to be more....how did she go from being in a psych ward to being a clinical psychologist or is that a lie? And why was she in there in the first place?

Yeah that woman wasn't old enough to be Claire's mother and if the daughter is an adult why would he be demanding the mother to see her. We know it's not Jack's wife because the woman was Australian.

I totally didn't believe Michael's story on the Others. Sounded like a set-up to me. Not necessarily that he was in on it, but maybe they were leading Michael to believe all that. I was totally shocked by the ending!!!!!!! I'm glad AL is dead, but I'm still so shocked by it. I also don't understand why he killed her. He could have easily said "I'm taking Henry to get Walt back", so was killing AL specifically part of The Other's plans?

I think he had to kill Ana Lucia because she killed Goodwin.

I can't believe she's dead. She was HOT! Well, at least she had a little "fun" before the end.

I thought Michael appeared startled when Libby walked in and spoke and he turned and shot her because he was startled. It almost appeared to me that he didn't really intend to kill Libby.

Notice that Jack's dad named Ana Lucia "Sarah" when they met at the airport. I thought that was interesting.

WOW oh WOW oh WOW!!! I literally sat, mouth open, holding my face, staring at the TV for a full 5 minutes after it got over. Probably the most shocking ending since the Sixth Sense.

I don't think Libby is dead, the bullets hit the pillow or blanket she was holding, so she is probably just injured. I don't think Michael has become an Other. I think the Other's capture him, showed him Walt, and is forcing him to do these things, by telling them they will kill Walt. He was apologizing, so it was if, he didn't want to do it, but had to. And the look of hate he had on his face, when he was looking at Henry, and then shot himself.

I did not delete the episode from my DVR after I watched it, like I usually do, because I may have to watch it over and over, just so the time until next Wednesday doesn't drive me crazy!!!!

I think so too. I think he made a deal with the Others to get Walt back. They convinced him it was right to kill Ana-Lucia because she killed Goodwin. Shooting Libby wasn't part of the plan and I think it really shocked him. I think that Libby will ultimately die, but not before some deathbed scenes with Hurley where he will remember (or she will tell him) where he knows her from.

Also, I think the Australian woman is Claire's mom. She definitely looked like she could be 40 which would make her old enough to be Claire's mom (she could actually be a bit younger than that even).

I just thought of something, if Libby is still alive, Michael will probably try to kill her, because they set it up to look like Henry shot them, then Michael, to escape. Libby will know it was Michael.

ACK! This show is eating my brain! :teeth:

I'm gonna put my OH MY GOODNESS in too!!!!! I actually screamed when Michael shot the girls.

He was definitely sent back by the Others on some sort of mission. I think it was just to kill Henry though. I think Ana Lucia just got in the way and Libby was just by accident. Remember that Ana told Michael the story about the guns not being there. I believe that Michael came back expecting the guns to be there and after he got "better" he would take his turn watching Henry and that when no one was around he would kill him. He knew he had a short period of time before Jack and the gang got back so he just did it then.

I'm probably wrong though as usual. This show throws you for a loop all the time.

Doesn't anyone else wonder why Jack's father told AL that what he had to do in Australia was dangerous? Going to look for a daughter isn't usually dangerous. What was up with that?

Michael was sent to free Henry. He had the opportunity to shoot him, but shot himself instead. Probably part of the plan, make it look like Henry shot them to escape, so Michael can now be a spy for the Other's.

I put this on the other lost thread but here you go...

If you call that Hanso phone number that was on the commercial last night it gives you this (as well as other stuff)...

http://thehansofoundation.org

Very interesting reading. The password to get around the site is "Breaking Strain". Gives some major clues to what may be going on.

There is also a book on Amazon.com called "Bad Twin". The author Gary Troupe gives an interview clip on the site and was on the Oceanic flight.

Interesting episode.

I actually thought that Michael shot the girls and himself so that he could say Henry did it. Then Jack, Kate, Sawyer, etc. would finally be motivated to go with Michael to find the Others and get Walt back. :confused3

That wasn't Jack's ex-wife. There is speculation that it is... (highlight to read) some woman Jack's dad had an affair with a long time ago and they had a daughter together and that the daughter is actually Claire. Making Claire and Jack half-siblings. Interesting eh?

I don't know. My dh and I really thought is was Sarah. We rewatched the show several times at key points and I didn't really think she had an Austrailian accent. Wonder if there is anywhere to see the listing of actors/characters for last nights episode???

I thought she had a really strong Aussie accent.
