Last nights episode was great. I knew I couldn't trust "Mr. Herny Gale."

One thing that caught my eye last night - Didn't the bank that Lock went to look just like the one Kate robbed?

I kept thinking there at the end that those two guys were going to show up and start shooting. They would kill Helen and Locke's dad and paralyze him.

Did anyone else notice that the balloon they found is not the type you would take on a round the world trip? I believe they are usually silver with an enclosed cabin.

I also read on another board that many of the phrases on the map are in latin.

Have you discussed why Walt & Michael are no where to be found?

Not really but it really bugs me. It's time to bring them back!!!!!

I thought for sure they would find Walt when Claire went to the old hatch where she was kept...or at least remember seeing Walt when she was there. No such luck though.

This episode was so good!! I loved Jack beating Sawyer for the medical supplies. That was great!

Is anyone else reminded of Disneyland/Magic Kingdom when you look at that map? Before I could read any detail and just saw the overall image, the first thing I thought of was the Magic Kingdom and the castle at the center with spokes to the different lands Some how I doubt there is a castle in the middle where the question mark is .

I'll have to check it out. I don't see him being anything but good. He forgave his father for all he did do him. I don't think I could do that. He seems to be always helping people

I agree but it does seem like he is has a harder feel to his character as opposed to how sweet he has been in his flashbacks. I think he might change in the flashbacks after we see how he was paralyzed and what happened to Helen.

In 2x17, a map of stations is revealed on the blast door via an ultraviolet light when the timer counts down.

You can make out "I AM HERE" with an arrow pointing to the SWAN STATION. You can also see the medical station logo, and some new logos that are hard to decipher. One of the new stations is: THE FLAME, with a flame logo, and it appears there may be a station called THE PEARL. In addition, the medical station is refered to as THE STAFF. There are also several latin phrases on the map, which translate as follows:

Aegrescit medendo - The disease worsens with the treatment. The remedy is worse than the disease
Sursum corda - Lift up your hearts (to God)
Credo nos in fluctu eodem esse - I think we're on the same wavelength
Malum consilium quod mutari non potest - It's a bad plan that can't be changed.
Cogito ergo doleo - I think therefore I am depressed
Ut sit magna, tamen certe lenta ira deorum est - The wrath of the gods may be great, but it certainly is slow

In one of the maps I saw, can't remember which Lost thread, it shows the hatch they are in and it looks like part of it was cut off from the rest. Then there was the one hatch that was completely scratched out.
