LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

That is the game that Locke is always playing with the mysterious black and white stone thingys. It's the game that he played with Walt and with Hurley.

That's what I thought, but I didn't get the connection to him and Eko.

Speaking of Eko and the Virgin Mary statue, I have a question. If I remember correctly in early discussions about this season and the new characters, there was supposed to be a Nigerian character connected to the drugs. Is that Eko and if it is, how could he be connected to the drugs and the downed plane if he was on flight 815. Or was that a red herring?

About using the computer for anything but entering the numbers. I believe that was a scare tactic to keep anyone from trying to communicate with the outside.

oh yeah, how come nobody has talked about the kiss? Not as hot as Kate and Sawyer's kiss, but the spontiniety of it was pretty hot.

My memory is getting bad - do we really know for sure that Eko was on the plane? I remember him in a suit after the crash but they haven't yet shown any flashbacks of him boarding or on the plane have they?

I am also thinking that Eko was on that drug plane. On the previews it shows him bashing in one of the virgin mary statues.

I don't have the first season's dvd's but wasn't Kate involved in a bank robbery? I thought that was why she was a fugitive, just a little confused.

Wasn't Eko helping rescue people out of the water when they started the tail section part of the story?

I'm pretty sure Eko was on flight 815. Wasn't he wearing a suit when he was helping pull people out of the water?

I remember Eko helping people out of the water. But there was the "other" who came out of the jungle and wasn't really on the plane. So that got me thinking that maybe Eko wasn't on the plane either.

No, I'm pretty sure Eko was on the plane. He was in the water like everyone else, he was wearing what looked to be a very nice suit and he pulled all of the dead bodies out of the water and buried them. The "other" that came out of the jungle was not wet and like the other "others" he was wearing beige clothes. He is probably connected to the drug runners in some way. Maybe he recognizes the plane and knows what it was in and sees Charlie with it or he sees Charlie take some of it. Unfortunatley we have 6 weeks until we find out..

Exactly. AL would have been just as suspicious of him if she weren't convinced he was on the plane.

I think that the bank incident was after all the killing Dad in a house fire stuff. Maybe you are right though because why else would the army dad say "I don't have murder in my heart"...maybe that was because she had already done the bank thing. I DON'T KNOW....AHHHHHHHH

I don't think Eko was on the Nigera drug lord plane...he was wearing a suit and why is he being so nice to all the people. BUT...they did have a list and maybe Eko was making a list based on the people he knew introducing themselves. I'm getting everything all intertwined. I'm confused!!!!!

I believe Eko was on the plane (815), maybe he helped load the Nigerian plane with all of the heroin :confused3

Kate was involved in a bank robbery, but she was already on the run, I'm assuming after last week's episode, for killing her father, Wayne. Kate wasn't robbing the bank for money, she just wanted a plane that she had in a safe deposit box. It belonged to her childhood sweetheart. I still believe there is more to the plane than that, I guess I'll have to wait and see ;)

The bank robbery happened after she burned the house. I think we're getting her story in reverse chronological order. I believe the first story we got was the bank robbery. There she got the plane that belonged to her friend. Sometime before that (but after the house torch) was when she came back to visit her mom in the hospital. Her mother was deathly afraid of her. That's when she visited with her friend and ended up killing him running away from the police.

Kate's Story
1. Kate burns house with her father inside.
2. Kate returns to see mom and ends up killing friend (accidentally)
3. Kate robs bank to get back the plane that belonged to her dead friend.
4. Kate somehow ends up in Australia where she is eventually found by the US Marshall who we saw again in this week's episode.

Does this sound right to everyone?

Sounds right, but there is a lot of information missing. From the show I mean.

Why did she hate Wayne so much. Why was her mother really afraid if Wayne was abusive. Kate's mother knew she did something, just did not know what. Kate did not hurt her mother, but thought she was saving her????

What was the plane all about? Why did she kiss Jack when she obviously wants Sawyer?

In regards to Eko, I don't think he is bad at all. I believe him to be a Christian man and sound in mind. I believe his role is key and that we will see that this season.

This show has a lot of catholic undertones, but I think there is some basic Christianity aspects to it. Rose and Eko being symbols of that. I think this plays a great deal into the story, we are just not sure what yet.

By the way, if you want to see something comical, visit......

She hated Wayne so much because he was a white trash piece of crap. Then when she found out he was her biological father, that made her the daughter of a white trash piece of crap. She kissed Jack because he is the "nice" guy and she was rebelling against her attraction to Sawyer, in whom she sees some of the same traits as her of her biological father.

Her mother did get abused by Wayne, but was fine with it because she (the mom) loved him. Kate thought she was doing her mom a favor, but her mom ended up ratting her out.

IMO this was a really weak playout to Kate's backstory. It could have been much more interesting. At Kate's given age, 24, she is much too old to be lamenting her mom's life and dealing with her father. She could have left that town years before and been done with it.

I don't know what the deal was with the horse. It seemed to show up to save her, sort of...first it 'helped' her escape the marshall, and the second time it saved her sanity, in that Sawyer could see it too. Beyond that, I don't know if there is a deeper meaning.

You're right, we are getting it in backwards order, but the first story was in AU when she was hiding out. I bet the next one we get will go back to before the whole house incident. There must be another reason why her army father said she has killing in her heart.
