LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

Also... In the beginning of the show when we see Desmon(d) getting up and ready it's light outside. At the end of the show the control room has it looking dark outside. But only a few hours had past and the sun did not rise yet (Jack said the sun would rise in 3 hours). I think that's important. The hatch is underground, we have no idea how big the island is and all we know is they were 1000 miles off course when they crashed. We assume they were flying in the correct direction to begin with but it's nothing more than
assumption.

It is probably artificial light, all we see is the light behind the window, nothing behind the blinds. It's also possible that what is behind those window's is an underground garden. He did use what appeared to be fresh fruit in his drink.

Someone vaguely already mentioned this, but I thought I would point it out more clearly (the connection between Hurley and Locke):

Locke works at a Box Company in Tustin, CA -- which Hurley owns (he bought a shoe factory in Canada which burned down and he got more $$ from the insurance of the fire than he initially invested in buying the shoe company and he also bought this Box Company in CA as part of his investments).

Right....

Thanks for that!

Do we know that it is really Desmond that we are seeing in the beginning of the show? That guy looked clean, well taken care of. When we see Desmond, at the end of the show, he looks disheveled, not in too good of shape. Perhaps he was on the plane also, one of the other survivors?

Or it could be because he is stuck in a hole in the ground! ;)

He was pumping iron though, and eating healthy.

How long are the survivors on the island for now? 1-2 monthes?

I think we can safely assume that. At the beginning, we (and he) hear the explosion of the dynamite. Then they pan through all the tunnels up the shaft to see them opening the hatch. He could easily get dirty if he was walking around in the tunnels and preparing his armory. It was probably a few hours from that time until Jack meets him. And we don't really know what he was doing in the meantime with Kate and Locke.

The first season was 40 days, each show is usually 1 to 2 days each.

Wow!!! I just finished all 6 discs of the first season set and all I have to say is :faint:

Out of all the surviors I like Claire the best. :)

Subscribing.

Just post more pics of Sawyer & I'm happy!

I thought it was interesting that in the preview show they focus on the woman who was sure her husband in the back of the plane was still alive. Even without the spoilers, they definately want us thinking about those passengers.

Rose? I can't wait for them to bring her husband on the show. I don't know for certain they will but I hope that is where they are going.

Does anyone think that maybe Demond is the father of Claire's baby? Did we ever see who the father was?

Definitely not Desmond. Yes we saw the father, he was a young man with blondish hair (really not remembering well what he looked like but definitely not Desmond or Charlie's brother as someone else mentioned) that she had a relationship with. When she was several months along he decided he was not ready for commitment/fatherhood stuff and left her.

Did anyone notice the numbers Desmond typed in the first sequence of last weeks episode?

4 space 8 space 1 5 space 1 6 space 2 3 space 4 2

:scratchin

I couldn't tell what he was typing, and I watched it twice. Do you have to watch frame-by-frame to see it? :confused3

Pretty much. Someone from another message board that I was visited (can't remember, arg) actually had a frame by frame video. In some shots I believe it just showed his arms, and then jumped back to the keyboard. I believe that some of the numbers weren't shown but that was definitely what he typed in. If I can find it again I'll post it here. :)

I am so bummed. My vcr didn't tape--sound, no video. So I am glad this thread is here! :flower:

Just making sure that anyone who missed/wants to re-watch the season opener - they are replaying it tomorrow night before the 2nd episode.

Honestly, I love this show! But there is SO much to follow!! I just found out at the site http://www.oceanicflight815.com/ which has all sorts of fun stuff on it (strangely though, a lot of the video clips have locks on them??)

There are so many clues I miss!

I love this show but it is hard to keep up! The Lost message boards are a nightmare....LOL you could spend DAYS browsing them! They need to have some sort of "guide" each week, to point out the clues/connections/etc. and keep track of them! Don't get me wrong, I love the show but it's hard to keep up.
