DH thinks Desmond is on the boat!
That's what I think too. He has to make another appearance sometime. Although I'm not sure where he got a nice sailboat. :confused3

I read a spoiler about that but since this is the "no spoiler" thread I can't say ;)

How about the fact that we FINALLY get to find out why the plane really landed there?! :goodvibes

When Walt said "they aren't who they pretend to be" or something like that, they are probably still "acting." I doubt they live in tents and we know that Zeke's beard is fake. Maybe military personnel?

What about when that guy who took Michael's blood said "see you in the funny pages." What did that mean? :confused3

I'll have to rewatch the episode.

Jennifer -- didn't Michael used to draw comic pictures for Walt? The comics are sometimes called the funny pages.

Very good episode!

I can't WAIT for next weeks -- answers and a whole new twist!!!

WHAT CAN IT BE???

Wasn't he originally sailing around the world in some kind of race or something?

I thought that too. Walt also read those Japanese comic books that he found on the beach. That has to mean something. Everything happens/is said for a reason on Lost! :goodvibes

I'm sticking w/my idea that the kid is in charge!

I think he wanted Michael's blood to see if he really was his bio father (I'm thinking the answer is "no"). I think see you in the funny pages is a reference to Walt's world of comics.

Anyone else notice the big pile up of the tubes in the preview clip for next week? Those journals don't go anywhere either!

I'm thinking we are NOT going to find out the WHOLE story of the plane crash...they gotta give us some teaser to get us hooked for next year.

From Urban Dictonary:

See you in the funny pages

An informal goodbye greeting. Usually used to indicate that the recipient is somehow defeated, unworthy, or left behind; hence their worthiness to appear only as a comic strip character in the funny pages.

"Boo ya! See you in the funny pages, sucker."

I was at WDW last week when this was on <<sigh>> so I didn't watch it until last night. I called the Hanso phone number from the commercial and was actually able to get through. There are 5 extensions you can press. The first is general information, the second is Alvar Hanso, and the other three are other executives. For the first one, if you call and get a normal message, then you need to call back. Eventually you will get a message where someone breaks in to it. She says that her name is Persephone, and says that she doesn't have much time, none of them do. Also if you want to know the true story behind the Hanso Foundation, then to use the password Breaking Free on the web site. I *think* that's the password. I put that in where they ask for one on the web site (if you're trying to sign up for the newsletter, but don't get anything different than if I put anything else in.

Each message starts in another language, I think French (although I swear I hear "Geronomo Jackson" in there??--I don't know what they're saying because I don't speak French), then switches to some music, then a Verizon plug ;) , then it has the voicemail message from the exec. They talk a lot about the Korean off-shore project. The number is:

1-877-HANSORG

Has anyone figured out how to enter something in the box on the bio for Thomas Mittelwerk? Or get into the Board of Directors area?

Already I can't remember the web site they gave last week. Does anyone know? It wasn't just TheHansoFoundation.org.

They were Spanish and I believe Hurley brought them along.
