I'm sorry you have lost your love of the art. I was in the same situation with not even brining my camera out of the closest for several years. My husband and I had tried to have a baby for several years and were not able, then we found out that we were expecting our son. Needless to say we were estatic, only to be devestated to later learn we would not be meeting him as planned. We lost our son and I was devestated, I litterally couldn't even think about photography, something I truely loved and enjoyed, I just didn't have the passion for it any more. It took me several years, I have a beautiful 3 year old little girl (who has helped bring my passion back) but it has only started to come back recently. I am out of practice on just about everything and there are times that I feel like I am never going to get my "eye" back, but I am already seeing improvement in my photos and I am enjoying it more than ever.
All of that to say, it is possible you will get the passion back. Just be patient and don't rush it, don't forget to allow yourself to process and feel things you have gone through so you are able to feel the passion again!!
