The camera was left at the Aruba bus stop at the Caribbean Beach Resort on Saturday morning, January 10, 2015. It is a black Nikon with a neck strap. The neck strap is all black and says “NIKON” in yellow. There is no address or phone number tag on the camera…and it was not in a bag. Here is a picture of the camera itself.

Please look at my blog for more info

Everything goes to the central lost-and-found located near the Magic Kingdom drop off area. It takes a day or two, but everything that gets turned in should end up there. Even our car keys, which were lost somewhere in Animal Kingdom, showed up there.

I second checking with the lost and found. DD left her camera somewhere in Epcot one day (we think on a bench in World Showcase). I figured it was gone for good, but we filed a report anyway. Got a call the next day!

As long as someone finds it and turns it into a cast member, lost and found should get it.

I'll jump on the band wagon for praising the Lost & Found. I lost my glasses at bag check at EPCOT on the 2nd day of a 2 week trip. We checked regularly but they never showed up. As a last ditch effort i called from home about 2 weeks after we got home only to be told that they had just been turned in (yup almost a month after i lost them) I got them less than a week later .. packed more securely than a piece of crystal :rotfl2:

So even if your camera doesn't turn up before you head home .. just keep calling!! OH make sure you fill out an official form -- either in person at the central lost & found (just outside the TTC monorail) or at your own resort

Lost & Found worked for us to. I also lost my Nikon camera back Dec 2012. I left it on the bus one night coming back from the park to the Pop Century. I just went to the resort front desk when I realized what I had done. They took all my information & called a few places to have the bus drivers to look for it. It did take a few days for lost & found to get it. We was back home by then & received a call from lost & found telling me they had found it. They just asked me a few particular ? about the camera & some pictures to just verify it was mine. We received it a few days later fedex.

I lost my cell phone on the Tower of Terror. Lost and Found has it two days later...

I hope it is turned in to lost and found. All the memories (pictures) in that camera are valuable. Please let us know if it is returned to you.

Here's a travel tip that I read a long time ago. The first picture you take should be of an index card with all of your identifying information on it. Name, address, telephone number, etc. The chances of getting your camera back are much higher with this information stored on it.

Did you fill out a lost and found form? Even though you didnt loose it at the parks maybe someone turned it in on the way to the park..ie didnt want to go all the way back to the front desk to turn it back in at the hotel.. The front desk may have a form also... My mom lost a pair of glasses at DL last summer and we did fill out a form.. 2 months later I got a pair of glasses in the mail but alas it wasnt them but Disney did try and shipped them across country no charge to me:) Good Luck!

It would go to this same lost and found if it was found a hotel?

I have heard on a Disney podcast that items lost at a Disney resort stay at that resort so be sure to keep checking the resorts own lost and found too.

Thanks of all the tips… The camera is FOUND and on its way home..
Disney is awesome

I also use file folder stickers on everything with my cell number. Several years ago at Ariel's grotto I found a high end camera and bag, they people left it on the ground next to the wall. I sat with it for sometime and finally someone came to claim it.

I waited to turn it in knowing logistics would take awhile to get them together again.
Pixie dust for a reunion.
