Lost iPhone on Dinosaur - Help!

So somewhere between the video intro and the end of the ride, I lost my iPhone yesterday. As soon as I realized it was missing, the car had gone around a couple of times and the CMs were able to check to see if it was in the pocket, but no luck. We waited until about 45 minutes after park close time to see if it was brought to Guest Services, but again, no luck.

Today we went to Lost and Found at TTC and I talked to a very nice CM there. She said they get several iPhones and other phones/items every day and they would mail it to me as soon as it turned up - not IF it turned up - but I'm not so confident.

After I realized it was missing, I called it and it went straight to voicemail. I remember there was no reception in the building, so that would make sense. But it could also happen if someone found it and turned it off, I guess.

So I guess my questions are...has anyone ever lost something on a ride and had it turn up days later? Is there a way to track the phone to at least see where it is? I've read about a few programs you can buy, but I don't know if any of them would really help in this situation.

10 years ago, during our honeymoon, DH lost his wedding ring on Splash Mountain. We got splashed, DH shook his hands and the ring flew off into the water.

We reported it missing at City Hall and they took a description of the ring and we told them exactly where it flew off. They said if it was heavy, it would just sink and they would be able to find it. We heard various things from different CMs re when the water is drained on the ride, if they would find it, etc. We were told that they would call if it was found, but if they didn't call the next day to call the main lost and found.

The next day we never received a call so we call main lost and found. They didn't have it. Just on a whim, DH decided to call MK lost and found and they had it! I still can't believe it and it's been 10 years.

Try lost and found at the park again, just in case.

My DH lost his debit card at DHS a few weeks ago. It turned up at lost and found at TTC 3 days later. DHS was just slow in sending it. We had already cancelled it, but it did turn up.

We lost one of DS's shoes on Sunday at Epcot and it showed up at Lost and Found at the TTC on Friday. We called every day to see if it showed up and Friday was our lucky day.

I lost my $300 maui jims when a typhoon hit in the typhoon lagoon wave pool. they showed up at TTC a couple days later without a scratch.

My daughter set her phone down outside Liberty Tree Tavern and left it on accident after the ELParade this summer, and I tried calling as soon as she realized it was gone, about 10 minutes later. No one answered, and then all of a sudden it was off and going straight to VM. I was sure someone had picked it up and kept it. We boogied up to Lost and Found, meanwhile I'm still calling it hoping someone answers, and when we got up to L&F, a CM had already brought it up there. This all happened in under 30 minutes. I was so impressed, and so very thankful!!

A few years ago DS lost his cell phone at the MK on our last day. Didn't realize it until we had left the park. Called lost and found numerous times with no luck. Left them all our information and gave up.

6-7 weeks later with no notice at all it showed up in the mail! Couldnt believe it!

Don't give up hope!!

My friend's son's iphone has a GPS locator inside of it. Can you locate your phone that way?

My DDs best friend lost her phone on Space Mountain a couple years ago. It was turned in to Lost and Found by the CMs and we were able to get it back the next morning by identifying it.

right, of course the battery is probably dead by now but Mobile Me has a 60 day free trial and can find your phone.

DH put our brand new FlipHD on an ice cream cart and within minutes it was gone and we never saw it again. Since an iPhone has to have a service plan and has an individual serial number I would imagine they aren't as popular to steal. Would there be a point in someone keeping it?

I hope your luck is different and they return it!!

They FOUND it!

I called Lost and Found this morning and they have my phone! I'm so happy! I'm 100% sure I lost it at AK and 90% sure it was on Dinosaur, but it was brought to Lost and Found my Disney Studios. We were there Sat and I had my phone until late Sunday, so I have no idea how that happened, but I'm just glad to be getting it back!
