lost inhaler, leaving for Disney in 2 hours

I have lost my inhaler and have NO refills left.
I will have to call my doctor's office in the morning and have them fax it to a pharmacy in Orlando... is there a pharmacy on Disney property? Will they deliver to your room?

I know it's a crazy question, but I'm sure this stuff happens all of the time... HELP!

I have this saved in my WDW tips:
If you need a prescription while @ Disney have your resort fax request to Walgreen’s by DTD. Take bus to DTD, then a short taxi ride. You can use your insurance coverage @ Walgreen’s.

Find out the nearest pharmacy. The Walgreens by DTD as the PP suggested is good. Have your Dr. fax it in - I think they can transfer from any Walgreens. Then its just a matter of you getting there from DTD via taxi. The store is

My wife forgot her birth control on our trip to Puerto Rico. She was able to get her doctor to send a script to a CVS or Walgreens there, so if we could do that, you should be able to do Orlando.

I've used Turner Drugs (I believe) and they have delivered to the room (well to the resort, and the front desk delivered it to my room). It took a little while, and there was a small delivery fee, but it saved me making a trip around a strange area and paying for transportation. I hope it all works out for you!

We used Turner Drugs and it was worth every penny. Many years ago. Our daughter had broken her collar bone before we left. It was so hot and we needed another figure 8 harness. It was delivered same day. So she could at least get wet and have one to change into while the other dried.

Turner Drug store will deliver and its only a $6.00 delivery fee.... We just did this two weeks ago and it was waiting at the front desk for us...

I have also used Turner drugs. The resorts all seem to have the number. In my case, they didn't accept insurance (or at least mine?) so we paid the full amount for the prescription via credit card over the phone and then submitted to insurance when we got home. It was very easy having the medication delivered the same day. We also thought not having to go back and forth was worth the delivery fee.

I ended up with bronchitis at Disney a few years ago.

I called the front desk looking for a number for a taxi. Disney dispatched a van and had me picked up right at my resort building that took me to Central Care Center. I knew I was going to need medication in order to get a head start on it in order to get on the plane that weekend.

I was befuddled about how I was going to fill these prescriptions, and the staff nurse motioned me to this door and on the other side was Turner Pharmacy.

I had the prescriptions filled, walked out their front door and there was the van waiting to take me back to my resort.

Whenever anyone complains about service at Disney, I tell them that story.

Turner Drug will deliver as others have said. We always rent a car and have used Walgreen's. They were WONDERFUL one time when I needed a prescription and my doctor called in to them. The great thing about going to WDW is the tons of stores, pharmacies, etc. in the area. I never feel like I am "out of touch" or nervous about getting a prescription or having to see a doctor for that matter when I am there. We have been going for years and have had our share of medical issues and I can honestly say that I can't say enough about the wonderful people who have helped us.
