Lost functions in portrait mode vs landscape on a phone???

I’m surprised that the page numbers (for at least the last few pages) are not visible on a Forum page in portrait mode. I sure hope this can be fixed. Take a look at these screenshots of a Forum and the gondola thread which is close to 400 pages. In portrait mode, I can’t even see how many pages, much less have the option to pick one of the last few pages. This is completely unintuitive for forum navigation.
