Always seeing posts on the DIS about lost & found cameras. Now there is a website for lost & found cameras worldwide

Now if there were only a site dedicated to lost keys....or cellphones....:rotfl: :rotfl:
 

Oh a quick tip also...

Take a picture of an index card with "If found please return to:" and your information on it (name, address, phone numbers). Lock the picture in your camera so it can't be erased and then if someone finds your camera and sees the picture, you're camera might find it's way back to you.

I used to do that, BUT I now remove photos from my cards by formatting the cards rather than deleting the photos. Formatting is supposed to be better in the long run for the cards. No data errors. Formatting also removes that locked "info" photo however. I have the index card in bag & try to remember to take the photo again each time. I also have address labels on my cameras & a tag on the bag.
