Lost Doggie.

My dad woke up this morning to find a stray dog in our yard. He didn't leave all day, and he was obviously looking for someone or something.
My parents decided to put up a lost dog sign, but no one has responded yet.
He's been here since 7am and its now 630pm.
We're pretty sure no one will claim him because recently alot of people have been dumping dogs on the corner about 500 ft from my house.
We'll take him to the vet when they open this week,to see if he has a chip or something.
Until then,he's just hanging around the house.

Here he is, his name is Benji.

Does anyone know what type of breed he would be? Or mix?

he looks like a beagle, maybe mix maybe full blooded.
but he does look like some kind of a beagle.

Don't know what type it is, but he looks pretty awesome. I'm a natural dog lover since I'm allergic to cats.

he's adorable!!!!i'd guess he was a beagle mix. but pordominately beagle, as their are not too many distinctive traits that i can see that make him look like any other breed of dog. id guess both of his parents were beagle or that his father was of a different breed. but im just guessing

Looks like a pureblood beagle to me.

We came home and he chewed thru the leash.
