Papa - check your pulse, please :teeth:

I do agree with you about Shannon, but I keep thinking that since everyone sems to be something other than what they appear, there's still a story about her that hasn't been told.

As for Claire, the women were talking about being suckers for accents. Well I admit I'm a sucker for a British or Australian accent :)

I'm so glad some men showed up. I was preparing myself to discuss the hotness of each of the women with you :teeth: .

No kidding! Last week, when he and Claire were talking about things they missed, I kept waiting for him to say "heroin!" :p

I'm another one who thinks Sawyer is the hottest fellow on the island. Gotta love those dimples! Although, Boone has really nice eyes...

Whoo hoo! More Sawyer fans. Where have ya'll been???
Boone has moved up on my scale. I just read that he's from a town about 45 minutes away from me. Gotta root for him too.

Barb-I've read a lot of theories on other LOST boards that suggest it's a Star Trek or Outer Limits type show. I'm so not a Sci-Fi fan so I hope if that is the case they won't go too far out there. I love how it makes us think, too. Just take the line "they were infected." That could go in so many directions. Were they actually infected with something and became physically sick? Were their minds infected and they became mentally ill? I'm sure there are many other possibilities.

Beth76 - you make me giggle. OK, you admit to liking Sayid. Is he the guy you think is the hottest on the island?

I'm not Beth, but he's my pick!!!:D Charlie is my favorite I think, but Sayid is much hotter!

Loved last night's show, especially the golf course! :p

As far as Nadia and Sayid, I am thinking she was eventually found and executed and he thinks it is his fault because he killed the guard and shot himself, blaming her.

Here are a few episode spoilers, highlight if you want to read them...

Episode 1.10: Raised By Another 11/15 - Guest starring are William Mapother as Ethan, Jenny Chang as Rachel, Nick Jameson as Richard Malkin, Keir O’Donnell as Thomas and Barry Whitfield as Mr. Slavitt. “Raised by Another” was written by Lynne E. Litt and directed by Marita Grabiak. Source: ABC
11/01 - Jack, Kate and Charlie wonder if Claire's disturbing nightmares might be coming true to threaten her life and the life of her unborn child, and a missing castaway returns with frightening news about what lies just beyond the mountains. Source: ABC
10/25 - This episode is supposed to be centered around Claire. Source: SpoilerFix.com
Episode 1.11: All the Best Cowboy's Have Daddy Issues
Airdate: December 8, 2004

11/14 - Survivors wonder why Charlie and the pregnant Claire have been abducted - and by whom -- and a search party ventures into the treacherous jungle to try to find and rescue the missing duo. Meanwhile, inner-demons about his father resurface for Jack, and Boone and Locke discover another island mystery. Source: ABC
11/10 - You will learn that Hurley knows how to weave a hat from palm fronds. Source: The Fuselage (Thanks irishmegs88 for the tip.)
11/08 - One character was not on that plane and Claire and Charlie are going to disappear, kidnapped, it seems by the character who was not on the plane. Source: Kristin on E!Online
11/02 - Jack centric episode. Title comes from our source. Source: The Fuselage (Thanks Jenn for the tip.)

And some general info, not too spoiler-ish...

11/17 - Someone on the show is on serious medication (mind-altering), and they are running out. And I'll rule out only one character: Vincent. Woof. Source: Kristin on E!Online
11/15 - [The woman whose husband died] will be back. And this time, she’ll be the one coaxing someone out of a post-traumatic haze. One of the main characters we know and love. Source: Kristin on E!Online
11/15 - Jack's Father's body WAS on the plane. Source: The Fuselage (Thanks irishmegs88 for the tip.)
11/14 - A cargo plane shipping zoo animals also crashed on the island once. Source: The Fuselage (Thanks irishmegs88 for the tip.)
11/12 - According to an online chat with Daniel Dae Kim, a Jin POV episode is slated for either episode 15 or 16. Source: The Fuselage (Thanks Mu for the tip.)
11/11 - Hurley's first name is Hugo, but oddly enough his last name ain't Hurley. It's a nickname and you'll have to wait for Hurley to tell you why. This comes up in a future episode. Source: The Fuselage (Thanks irishmegs88 for the tip.)
11/10 - In a future episode, you will find that Hurley has an ability that will come in very handy on the island. Source: The Fuselage (Thanks irishmegs88 for the tip.)
11/09 - Each “Lost” writer had to pull three names out of a hat. [Lost writer Paul] Dini got Locke, Sawyer and Sun and was instructed to write a history for each of the three. Dini says Locke having the same name as the philosopher is not a coincidence. “… the monster is sort of a reflection of yourself. The pilot saw it in horror and he was killed because he feared the monster. Locke saw the monster with true awe, therefore, he was able to survive his encounter,” Dini said. Though we may never see the entire monster, Dini says it may be "a Loch Ness Monster kind of thing.” The characters of Scott and Steve, introduced last week, will soon have speaking parts. At least one main character and several minor ones will die before season’s end.

Now, the first item in this list is interesting. Is this "old" news or is it that someone else has this secret also? The date on the spoiler is from this week and we thought the issue was settled a couple of weeks ago so again, we have an interesting twist!

I've been reading some spoilers too, and so far all of them have been correct. It will be interesting if all of this does happen.

Edited because once I posted, I could read the spoilers against the blue background. I removed them.

I read the spoilers and the thing mentioned at the end disturbs me more than anything else! I hope it's not true!!! How are we going to get by for two weeks without LOST!?! Can you imagine what it'll be like between the season finale and the fall?? (And don't even think about not bringing it back next year!)

I agree in that I sure don't want this to be so far out there that it borders on ridiculous. But so far, I'm loving it all.
And, Jack is still my main man. I like Sayid and yes, sometimes, Sawyer-like last night when he came up to the golf game. He just has that nasty little smirk that gets to me. But at the end of the day, I still go back to Jack.:teeth:

I vote for Sayid. Jack is a little too predictable for me and although cute, not HOT. And as irritating as Sawyer might be, I can't forget that kiss. I'm not much into kissing, but that was one amazing kiss. :faint:

Pity that I can't record unintelligible yet accented voice thingoes then ;)

That French woman last night was a little....weird. All that talk of others and things that aren't bears but worse (despite her saying there were no monsters) was a little bit befuddling. I have to say I hope for some sort of resolution to all of these queer mysteries sometime in the near future!

Add me to the list of Sawyer fans....he is the only one on the show that (just MY opinion) I consider "HOT" !!!!! :goodvibes

Love talking about this show...there is so much to question...

First off: Where is Alex? I don't think he's dead. I think he's out there and away from Mom. COuld he be the one who clocked Sayid?

Where does that cable Sayid found go? It went way out into the ocean. Could it be getting power from something out there (like the sunk ship).

Danielle said they were on a medical expedition. Could this have something to do with animals? (hence explaining the polar bear and other animals). She's obviously got a medical background.

Danielle killed all the members of her party because they were "infected". Did they get some island disease? Does the island infect you? Or were they not infected at all, but Danielle is?

What are the whispers in the forest? Is it just Danielle's imagination (I know Sayid heard it too -- could she have infected him?).

Who are the others on the island that Danielle brings up (but hides from).

There are so many potential group "cliques" and in fights too...Kate falling for Jack or Sawyer, Walt's allegience to his dad vs Locke, the Korean couple and Walt's dad, Charlie and Claire, the whole "camp" vs Sawyer...

Every time questions are answered more arise!

How do we know Alex is a boy? She said "my child" not son. Alex could be a daughter too. And I think Alex may be around too. We never learned how old the child was either.

After I watched this one, I thought....well, now there are more questions than before!

I liked that they did the golf thing and had fun together. I can't wait to hear Hurley's story either.

We figured Alex is still around too, and that Alex probably hit Sayid. Good point that she did not say son. Silly of me to presume that, since just last night as I tucked her in, I told my dd she was originally going to be named Alex instead of Alexa.

That puzzled me a bit last nite, last week Sayid did get hit in the head, and last night he was sitting on the beach. Was I mistaken
or did I miss something.

Last week he made it back to camp after being knocked out. At the end of last week's episode he headed out alone after torturing Sawyer.

Nope. He just showed back up. LOL-We might find out what happened in a flashback 6 episodes down the road.
Honestly, I think that's just one more thing the writers want us to wonder about.

It was 2 weeks ago he got hit on the head. Last week he tortured Sawyer, then left camp because he was unhappy with himself for doing so.

I'll take Sawyer anyday over Jack.

The sly grin, the dimples, the whole bad guy with a conscience...........:faint:
