Im posting this wherever i can, even though i know it's a long shot. I somehow lost my camera on the last day of my WDW vacation. If I had to guess, I think i lost it at the airport or on the airplane, but I don't want to leave any stone unturned. I left lost reports with POP, Central Lost and Found in case I lost it in MK or on the shuttle bus coming back to POP, Mears in case it was on DME, Orlando MCO airport, and Southwest. It's been 3 days and nothing so far, but I'm trying not to give up hope. I don't take pictures on my phone, so this is a huge loss for me. It was my 1 year old's birthday trip and first trip to Disney. So if anyone sees a black camera bag with a shoulder strap with a black Nikon inside (missing its lens cap), please turn it in.

Sorry to hear that. Good luck and keep following up with at least central Lost and Found for a few more days. Did you have anything in the case with phone number/address?

This is after the fact but might help anyone in the future.. I actually think I learned this on the DIS many many years ago but not sure of the original poster... write down "If found, please call (000) 123-4567" on a piece of paper, then take a photo of it. One on your camera memory and one on your memory card. Hopefully someone would look through the images, and also be honest to track you down :)

Sorry you lost it, that stinks. Keep checking with Disney lost and found also.

Was going to post this exactly thing. Leaving in less than a week and I'm sure I would have forgotten to do just this if I hadn't read this thread. On the paper I would also write "or please upload photos and send link to YourEmailAddress". If someone wants to keep the camera fine, maybe they'll give you the pictures at least.

Good luck OP.

I've done this in the past. Hopefully I remember to do it in the future. If someone decides to keep my camera, I would at least wish to get my pictures back, but that would be asking a lot of work of a very dishonest person lol
