LOST CAMERA AT EPCOT on 12/31/03...

Just got back from our 7 day stay at Caribbean Beach (Jamaica building). We lost our camera we believe at Epcot, either at the camera shop, or by stroller return, or the Checker Cab Co. that took us from Epcot to MGM. A long shot, but if anyone knows about finding a black CANON G5 camera, I'd love to know. Our entire vacation was on it (appx. 500 pics). We are so upset; it was our son's first time at WDW and we have ZERO photos, other than the posed photos from CMs.

So sad..........

i will try and drive up there one day this week and check at the lost and found at those parks....maybe you will get lucky. You could also try calling the guest relations at the parks to see if it has been turned in.

Have you called Lost & Found?

The general number for Central Lost and Found is (407) 824-4245. The Epcot number (which is where it would have been taken first, if you did lose it there) is (407) 560-7500. If it was turned in, they should have it logged in.

I hope you're able to find your camera. I can sympathize with you ... I dropped my camera at the Zawadi Marketplace (AKL) and realized as I was walking back to my room. Luckily, someone found it and turned it in. Keep calling ... it may turn up!

I think that was very sweet of you to make the offer, but I did want to mention that when my husband lost his glasses at Epcot this year we went back a few days later to check and they told us we had to go to the Central Lost and Found. Apparantly every evening they come and collect the lost and found stuff and take it to this central location. I am not exactly sure where it is because we weren't going to bother going there for the glasses.

If I were you, I would try the Lost and Found Number first and see what happens there.
