We were in San Antonio staying at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk two weeks ago. The hotel was very nice and in a great location. I highly recommend it. We forgot a medium sized canvas bag with my prescriptions and jewelry in it somewhere. We never do this and both DH and I have no idea how it happened. I contacted the hotel but not until three days later when I was looking for my jewelry for the wedding. I was heartsick. I contacted the hotel and they looked and I left a message for the housekeeping supervisor who handles lost and found. I never expected to see this again as it also had vicodin and darvocet in it as well as syringes and my methotrexate. I was really worried about this as well and contacted the SAPD to let them know about the dangers of this drug and that it might fall into the wrong hands. It was a very large amount as they aren't making it in small vials anymore.
Imagine my surprise this past Monday when I got a call from the supervisor to tell me she had my bag. I didn't think to ask how or who had it cause I was just glad to have it. I got it in the mail today and everything is just as I left it. I had it sealed in a ziplock and the air squeezed out. It doesn't look like anything was touched. Even the jewelry. I just sent off an email to corporate and the hotel. What a relief to have this back. Who would have thought that could happen after two weeks?
