I have lost my annual : pass - is there anyone out there who this has happened to?
Will they replace it? How can I check an AP rate?

It happens all the time.

People (like me) lose AP's in FastPass Machines all day, every day.
Many are misplaced or left "back home" as well.

Just go to "Guest Relations" right outside any one of the Parks and show your legal ID and they will print you a new AP (with the original dates) in seconds.

(Same thing goes for resort Check-in... Your AP info is in the central computer which can be accessed at the hotel.)

My boyfriend left his Annual Pass in the Fastpass machine for Soarin' last week. We simply went to Guest Relations, they looked him up in the computer and printed out a new one. It took about a minute and it was free!

If you're talking about "signing in" on the WDW website (and you need your AP number to do so), I'd call WDW directly and see if they will tell you your AP number (after some sort of "proof" to establish who you are) I know that they use your phone number as one indicator.

Just make sure you have your driver's license with you when you get to Guest Relations. Also have that if you need to call to get your Annual Pass ID number. It really is a painless process - I left mine in the car and didn't realize it when I got to the turnstyles. Even worse, I didn't have my ID with me either. The husband was already through and into the park. I got him back with frantic arm motions and the Cast Member saw our last name was the same as was our expiration dates on the passes and issued me a new one right away.

That's what I like about APs - I'm so anal retentive about tickets and things like that, I can relax a bit with those.
