lost and found

One daughter lost her sunglasses on Space Mountain (that she had just bought that morning at TL when the wave pool ate the ones she brought with her). Second daughter lost her hat at Epcot. I have been calling lost and found every chance I get but can never get through. Do they have an email or something? I've had luck with them finding stuff in the past but not if I can't get through to them!

I would stop at Guest Relations at one of the parks (ideally, before you left the park you lost the item at) and register the loss / see if they have it.

I've never called a number for a lost item; just did the above.

We lost a bag last time we were at DW. I called a million times before I finally got through. They did have our bag and after a huge serious of events, we got it back. Keep trying!

Yeah did that with the first one. They gave us the lost & found number.

Lost and Found on the phone is a joke at Disney. It's useless. Who knows where your phone call goes, and the recording tells you they can't help you with items lost unless it's been at least a day since you lost it.

So anything you lose that day, you're better off going to GR to see if it was turned in.

It makes sense that things take a day to be sent to a central location and logged. While our things are precious to us they are just one of a pile of crap in a box.

We lost soo many things this trip. Some we got back other we never did. It also seems like we would lose something right after getting it.

The biggest one was DW lost her wallet in downtown Disney, with cash, drivers license, and debit cards! We thought our vacation was sunk at that point. As luck would have it someone turned it in with everything in tact! Thank you to whomever it was that turned it in!

I had already stopped taking my wallet into the parks, it was soo nice just using the magic band for everything.

This is my theory on why there is not a 5th park. Imagine they are using all the space for Lost and Found items.

Well we did finally get through (with DH willing to stay on the phone from AK, to waiting for bus, to riding on bus. They found the sunglasses but not the hat.

Then DH left his water shoes at the bus stop at the resort - was on the phone on and off with POR multiple times - but when we got off the bus after our day at BB they were still there.

How funny DW lost a hat at POR as well. She had it on at the Bus stop, when the bus got to Epcot it was gone, it was not in the bus. I think there is a pixie at Riverside that eats hats...

I think I read someone in a CM blog that there's a giant warehouse at WDW where unclaimed Lost and Found items, old CM uniforms, antiquated set pieces, etc are sold at rock bottom prices to Cast Members.

I would enjoy shopping there!
