I haven't read through everyone's posts, but would like to when I have more time. I weighed 170 when I decided, yet again, to lose weight and get down to 120-125 by our Disney trip. That will not be until June or August of 2010, so I have a lot of time, but my real goal is to do it by the New Year.

I use Sparkpeople. It is online and completely free. For me it is plenty of support and motivation and lots of reference tools, so I will save my money for Disney. :goodvibes I did use Spark before and did get to my goal, but sadly I then swayed away and stop using it only to get back up to 170.

Did wo #12 today. It was fairly hard with lots of lunges. Tomorrow is a rest day and I think I will take the day off. I have a pain in the top of my foot and has been getting worse over the last few days.

I did the TM today too and felt good.
 
I just started the 30 day challenge and did workout 2 yesterday. I'm defintely feeling it in my abs and legs. Can I just say that I hate lunges.:cool1:
 
For some reason the kick ups about killed me yesterday. The lunges are getting easier. Haven't seen the scale move, but I'm trying not to think about the numbers. I feel better and I think that counts for a lot.

I too have a wii active and a wii fit, the active definetly works you out better. I also go walking/running in the morning. I am up 1.5 lbs from last week for some reason I cant stop snacking, I am trying to snack on good things but I still think I go over my calories every day. Today is a new day hopefully I can get the eating in check today.

When I first started ramping up my workout routine at the beginning of the year it seemed like I was hungry all the time! I think it's because your metabolism starts going faster therefore you feel more hungry. As long as you make sensible choices and keep working out you should be fine.

So this morning I went to the gym which I only do once a month (not working out but to get a Body Fat Index measured) I have lost 12% of fat and gained 3.2% of muscle ... Water weight was up so I am lowering my salt.

I was happy to see my BMI is down by 3 points putting me out of obese and into just plain overweight! Still not healthy but hey I am reaching my goals.

Anyone ever had the body fat index test with that annoying and painful pinching tool !!! :scared1: OWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWW

Also I am the biggest in my chest and I have gone down from a 42DD to a 38D which is a big deal for me cause as I grew up I was always the bigger girl. To have my breast actually getting smaller is such a blessing to me because I have been fighting to get a breast reduction with my insurance fighting back saying no .... apparently my headaches, neck, shoulder, and back pain mean nothing! Oh well ... I am sorry I am all done venting!

:thumbsup2:cool1::thumbsup2 Hooray for you.... That is a great accomplishment. :banana: Has everyone been noticing the weight loss? That's the best part... when people you haven't seen in a while say, HEY.. you've lost some weight... I had that happen to me the other day.. and it feels good to see that someone noticed! I was like.. well... yeah, I've been trying since I had the baby, and finally someone noticed! some clothes are feeling looser, but I don't have any numbers as far as BMI or actual pounds since I don't own the awful scale. This is the motivation.. along with hoping to look better / feel better at Disney. :woohoo:
 
I got on the scale this morning & I lost 3 lbs after being stuck at the same weight for the last few weeks. I was so happy to see my hard work paying off then my happiness got crushed by some sad news. My 13-year old German Shepherd, Harley died this afternoon. He was like a member of the family & his loss hurts more than I can say. I know I need to workout today but I just don't think I can bring myself to do it, I'm so depressed.

Sorry to be such a downer, I just needed to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening.

Hi all, just thought I'd check in and see how everyone's doing this weekend.

I'm on the final push before vacation, we leave in 12 days! Trying to eat really well and am working out hard every day. Also, I started a 14 day cleanse today, first timer with this process so we'll see how that goes. I'm a bit apprehensive about it but I figure it has to be good for you right? :confused3
 
I'm back on track after lapsing for a day. I consoled myself with a bag of Doritos & felt terrible afterwards. I don't know why I do that to myself just when I'm starting to show progress, but the only thing I can do is get back on the horse & ride it. I did my 12th workout yesterday & also cut grass for 40 minuites with a push mower that had a broken self-propelled cable, whew, that was a workout.

How is everone else doing? Good luck with your cleanse, KPH500, I tried that once & must have had the wrong kit because it didn't do a thing for me. I hope you have better success than I did. Let us know if it works.
