My dd's (5&7) and myself prefer to wear slip on type sandals rather than ones that strap on. Are there any rides we should worry about them coming off. My girls are fairly tall so they can ride most of the thrill rides. Thanks.

Single digit dance!!! 7 days and counting    !!!!!!

The only one I can think of (and it's not a thrill rise) is Soarin' in Epcot. And the CM will remind you to leave them on the floor in front of you.
Have fun !

I would have to agree with cocodog. Soarin' would be the one that you would lose your sandals/flip flops on. I wore the slide on sandals most days (leather ones). I do not remember hearing a CM telling me to leave my shoes on the floor, but there are stow away compartments under your seat you could put them in. You would not lose them, they would just fall on the floor or someone under you!!

My daughter lost a sandal on Dinosaur! in AK when it went around a sharp turn. Cast members told her to go to guest relations at closing time. She hobbled through the park until we found a pair of flip flops she could wear for the day. At park closing, she went to guest relations and sure enough they found her sandal. We had to wait a while and by the time her sandal had been retrieved all the other park-goers had been transported and there were no more buses. A cast member made a phone call and within just a few moments there was a "VIP" bus to take us back to our resort. Just one example of why I love Disney.
