We are leaving on the Magic in 18 days and DD7 has two teeth that may be coming out around that time. Does Disney do anything for the kids that lose teeth on board? I will bring something to leave for her, but wondering if Disney has special things for them. Thanks!!! Can't wait to go!

My daughter lost two teeth during our Christmas cruise last year. After the first one, we went to guest services & they gave her a special 'I lost a tooth button' and a stuffed Cheshire Cat & our guest services guy took her over to see Goofy in the Atrium to have a special picture taken with him. She went back to see our G/S friend after tooth # 2 came out & he gave her a second tooth button to add to her collection. Lol! She wanted to wait & do the tooth fairy once we were home.

This was while on the Magic. HTHs!

I'm not sure if DCL does anything special, but we had a little one lose a tooth on our last Fantasy cruise and here is an idea. Our daughter received a special note from Tinker Bell to say she was contacted by her cousin the Tooth Fairy. Since we were out to sea for so long, Tinker was filling in for her--add some glitter for that extra pixie dust sparkle.

This happened to my 8 year old last year too! We will be on the Fantasy for Thanksgiving and my 6 year old is trying to hold on to a loose tooth until then!!

So is Tinker Bell implying that the Tooth Fairy can't get to the ship because it is out to sea? How does that make logistical sense? I would think the Tooth Ferry could just fly to the ship. Cute idea, but did your little one see through this? Just curious.

Back when the kids were little and starting to lose teeth, the word on the boards was that since Tink was a very jealous fairy she didn't allow the tooth fairy onboard but took care of things herself. Back then GS gave a drawstring bag filled with blue ribbon, Mickey heads and pixie dust. I added a Tink pin and DS was very happy when he lost his first tooth on CC. When DD lost her first tooth a year later she asked that Tink come see her also. We had been on a cruise a few months earlier when she had mentioned it and I picked up a Tink pin just in case. ;)

I had heard they did something special -- as luck would have it, one of my sons lost one in Cape Canaveral -- the day before we boarded, and the other son lost one in DTD the day we disembarked. :sad2:

Thanks everyone! Here's hoping she can hang on to one while we are on board that week :goodvibes

This makes sense. Tinker Bell is a possesive pixie!

When my DD lost her tooth (although it was about 4years ago now) on the a Wonder GS gave us a special card & lots of pixie dust ;)

Not exactly addressing your question about the cruise, but my daughter lost her first tooth while we were staying at the Polynesian. We had told her ahead of time that since Tinkerbell is already at Disney spreading pixie dust, the Tooth Fairy allows her to be the one to visit sleeping kids while they are on a Disney vacation.

My wife and I were going to pick up a 'gift from Tink' in the park that day, but it was the day right before Snowmageddon 2011 on the East Coast , and we had to scramble to fly out of Orlando a day early. Guest Services was awesome - I had gone down to see if they had any autographed Tink pictures (they didn't), but they went in the back and found a Year of a Million Dreams Tink Pin to give to my daughter as Tink's gift for losing her first tooth.

Our daughter managed to lose a tooth on two separate cruises! On the first, I went to the gift shop to buy a special Tinkerbell pin that I was going to tuck under the pillow at night. I told my story to the CM, and then pixie dust struck, in the form of a special certificate and an additional pin from Tink. The same thing happened the second time around.

My youngest DS lost his first tooth on the Fantasy on our May 2012 cruise. I stopped at GS and asked if they had any special pins or anything. That night we returned to our room to find that Tinkerbell had left a pin along with a big Mickey stuffed toy with a note congratulating him on his loss! He was so happy that he had something so special that his older siblings never got! ;) They were happy for him too!

DD lost two on one cruise. Button and certificate left in room, I assume by stateroom host - not really sure how he knew, but DD was thrilled.

Maybe Tinkerbell told your stateroom host. ::idea:

My son over the weekend found his first loose tooth... I thought fir sure it would wait the 12 days till our cruise since it was barely loose... but as luck would have it... that night during bath time it got hit and before bed it was out... all within 24hrs... but since they normally start falling out soon together I'm thinking we may loose one on board... I'm hopeful... my son would get more loose by then

Our son lost a tooth last week on the magic. He just got a button from guest services. Hey, better than nothing I guess

That is amazing! I never even would have thought to ask them about that and I am so surprised they have "I lost a tooth" buttons. Disney really does think of everything.
