LOS vs Park Hopper tickets?

We are staying for 5 nights arriving on a Tuesday afternoon around 2-3pm and leaving on a Sunday morning (to cruise!!) Do you think I would be better to get the Los with the 10% discount or to get a 5-day hopper plus?

It really just depends on your touring style, if you are going to the parks every single day and would like to go to the water parks or pleasure island or disney quest also then the LOS passes would be best. If you might not go to the parks every day and don't want to do the other things then the park hoppers would be better.

On the same topic, am I correct that unused days on park hoppers never expire? Therefore, is it smart to buy a 7 day (b/c it works out to be the cheapest per day) and then just save the remaining days for future trips?

I don't see much benefit in LOS -- particularly if you're arriving in the afternoon the on the first day -- are you planning on going to parks that day?

With LOS -- if you decide not to go to the parks one day for whatever reason (kids by pool instead or someone gets sick) you'll feel like you're flushing the money down the drain.

Park Hopper Days do not expire -- we purchased 7day - plus and used it over two trips and still have plus features left.

If you plan on going to several "plus" locations i.e. water park and pleasure island in the same days - perhaps LOS is better.

I like not having the pressure to feel that I need to go to a park each day. In fact -- that is what I LOVE about DVC -- we go often enough that I don't feel pressure to do everything each time we go!

This is what we usually do. The only problem is keeping track of the old 7-day
passes that have no park days left but still have "plus" days. But since they never expire and we know we'll be back the 7-day does seem the most economical.
